Yes I know what you mean. We'll probably go with another satalite company. We use the DVR on as much programming as we can. Then watch when we want. Right now it's coffee and Colbert followed by Survivor. The art of retirement.
Tuesday, December 11, 2018 Game: Liverpool v. Napoli Location: Anfield Competition: Champions League - Group Stage - Match Day 6 Time: 3p E / 2p C / 1p M / 12p P TV: B/R Streaming or Univision (Yes you read that right - again the marquee matchup of the round is streaming in only for English - ********ers, Univision is available fortunately as well. Still greedy F'ers)
It's clear they love Spurs over at Turner (for whatever F'n reason). No worries, they'll be done soon.
I'm pretty sure they prefer to put the spurs games on because their crack studio analyst Steve W Nash is a huge spurs fan. gotta keep "the talent" happy. could they find any less dynamic people for their studio crew? it's like the are all reading sides for the first time for the junior high school play "champions league matchday".

I watched on Univiosn yest6erday and then went back to TNT for post game hoping they would show goals from the other matches and all I got was Edu, Bocanegra and Howard chit chat and hardly any highlights and a quick interview from Anfield. Very poor coverage.
I caught about a minute of that broadcast on the stream I was using. god almighty, they are dreadful - they looked and sounded bored ffs. howard in particular needs a good smacking.

I often watch the Telemundo broadcast if available, as that channel is in HD on DISH, while NBCSN is not. The comments up thread about the TNT broadcast reminded me of when they had the english language broadcast rights to the '90 World Cup. Their color broadcaster was Mick Luckhurst, a kicker for the NFL Falcons. His qualifications for the job must have been; He had an English accent He was in Atlanta, and not busy at the time. I wish I could say that was the worst part of their "coverage" of the event.
The first WC I watched was 1978, the Argentina one. There was no English language TV, so I watched the Spanish language station. I was pulling for the Dutch.
I caught that match on a cruise boat on the River Rhine. Almost all the support was for the Dutch, including mine. Humiliating defeat though with the Dutch players behaving badly in the second half.
