Liverpool Football Club on TV - 2017/2018

3 out of the last 4 games on shit streams...

 

I had to watch streams for several years. It sucked but was better than nowt.

 

Agreed but thought we had moved on from those dark ages...

 

Just wait until the Premier League bubble bursts and the TV money dries up. We'll be lucky to have another version of Fox Sports World with one match per week.

 

I agree that it'll give eventually but doubt it would go back to 1999 levels of coverage. That sounds a little extreme.

 

Meet Mario Machado Soccer on TV pioneer. He brought us the FA Cup Final once a year. Then sometimes even 2 games a year. Woohoo!!!

in the 70s he did a first division match cut from 90 to 60min on Sunday. my guess is that he watched a tape a couple of times and did PBP after he was familiar w/ the players numbers, etc. i had no idea back then that Liverpool was a big deal in the football world.

 

They've got NBC Gold on sale right now for $39.99, so I caved and bought it. I'm already sick of hunting for streams that end up crapping out midway through the game. I just have a feeling that with the cluster of fixtures coming up, we're going to be stuck on that channel more often then we'd all like. So just call me...

 

Aren't they risking their ratings doing that? Guess not, since there's always a top-6 team they can put on the main channel.

It's like they reverted to drug dealer tactics. Give it away for free at first then charge them through the nose thereafter.

I just broke down and became a Gold member - and I don't loooooovvve it. After free streaming it feels like the fasha of all rip-offs.

 

I won't buy into it. Perhaps if it's the only way to get CL next season !!!

I'll check highlights and goals after the match today.

 

I laughed at this before the game but good call.

 

One thing I will say for both the NBCSN and NBC Sports Gooooooooold apps, they look great on my phone.
