Hopefully being at home will give the side a boost. They've got to play better than last weekend at the Skip.
Spurs are blaming their poor season start on their loss in the final to us. Hoping to repeat their 5-0 win during the week. I just hope we've spent the past couple of days with some passing practice.
I have been pleasantly surprised with Alisson. There was no huge fanfare when he returned and he has gone about his job without any fuss. We were blessed with Adrian and our win streak, but having a world class keeper slot back in seamlessly after 2 months out is comforting. Now with AOC, Lallana and Keita also stepping up, the squad is purring nicely. Don’t mind a red/yellow suspension here and there, but please no injuries. And as much progress as we have made since June, Spurs have regressed. I thought it was decided that they had a more successful summer transfer window than us?
He mae a great point blank save against Genk in the 1st half. He really has a great hand reaction at close range....
No they are not. I hope (and believe we will win) but players like Son and Ericcson are certainly not trash. Delli Alli is back too. And Kane is a Pane in every goalkeeper's ass. Winks is one of the few English players who isn't overrated IMO....
You're right, they're not. They're a great team that's lost to Newcastle, Leicester, Brighton, Colchester (on PKs), and drawn Watford. They're so good they gave up 7 goals in a European home match. Compared to us, they're trash. Especially since we're at home. No excuses.
There have been several games lately where we have started with the 4-3-3, and changed the system mid game when things did not go well. Perhaps this will be the game that Klopp starts with a 4-2-3-1. I hope Ox and Keita are in contention to start. Henderson has been out of form.
Leicester overtake us on goal difference .... they really walloped Southampton 0-9 at the Dell .... phewww....
