I worry about the long break-- we tend to be sluggish after breaks. I hope we include some actual "practice matches" in training.
Every factor is being over-thought in my head and will be all the way up until kickoff. Woof. This is gonna work, Steve. I know it is. 'Cause I don't know what I'm gonna do if it doesn't.
But we do have the advantage of having gone through it last year, so we should know what works and doesn’t better than they do.

Hmm. Rule change for the Final. Liverpool and Tottenham will be able to name up to 12 substitutes for the Champions League final after UEFA announced a rule change, according to The Mirror. The rule is also in place for the Europa League final, and will be for the UEFA Super Cup as well, which the Reds will play in should they win a sixth European Cup. Last season, only seven substitutes per team were allowed to be named .
Interesting. I was actually thinking that with only seven subs we would have to leave some senior players out of the squad entirely. Our seven subs likely would have been: Mingolet, Lovren, Gomez, Milner, Shaqiri, Ox, and Origi. That would have left no place for the likes of Sturridge. Also Lallana and Moreno. Now we can include some of the kids on the bench and it will be an amazing experience for them.
... there's no way LFC lose this right? It just can't happen. If they lose this I don't know what I'm going to do.
I don't think they're going to lose. I'm thinking 2-0 or 2-1 to Liverpool, just hope we don't see that dreaded lull after a long layoff that has reared it's head multiple times the last few years.
Oh, there's a way. That's why I'm dying of anxiety. We need to remember though that the problems that could potentially fall on us (out of form, injuries, etc) could also hurt them too. It's an even field. Now, with all that said...yes, I fully expect to beat these fools 2-1 or 3-1. No ET. No PKs (we haven't won major silverware without PKs since the League Cup in 2003). We just have to for so many reasons. I'll be broken if we don't.
