    OMG!! lost for words.
when i saw the line up at the back of my mine, hmmmm ok lets do this as long we stay in the game going to be happy, but in the 2nd half, the way we were playing i was buzzing and when the ball hits the back of the net i was screaming the house down hahahaha.
every one deserves MOTM but i can only give it to one so it has to be Adrián he really saved us that 1st half

Wait - you mean we actually have a full week before LFC plays again?
What am I going to do midweek - may actually have to get some work done!

I think he's a great option, a Lallana level player, whom we have previously bought from other clubs.

    I hope he stays.

When I checked in to watch in the first half, the comms were doing a special blurp on how good this Calvin-lewin guy was.
I didn't see him after that, did he go off?

Well, Ancelotti has been praising him to the rafters after his recent goal-scoring run with even talk of his being called up for England.

I have no idea myself. Glad I have a couple of interviews to occupy my time mid week.

apart from the Millie injury (word is it could be his hammy - hope that's BS) you really couldn't have scripted this game better.

running out of superlatives for the club right now.

"Massively disrespectful to the competition to put out a lineup like that. Ancelotti should be ashamed of himself."

    • Liverpool remain unbeaten in their past 23 home games against Everton in all competitions (W13 D10); they have beaten the Toffees twice at Anfield in the same season for the first time since the 1986-87 campaign.
    • Everton have never won away to Liverpool in the FA Cup in six attempts (D4 L2).
    • Liverpool have progressed from the FA Cup third round in eight of their past nine seasons, failing only in 2018-19 thanks to a 2-1 defeat at Wolves.
    • Everton have been eliminated in the FA Cup third round in four of the past six campaigns, as many as in the preceding 20 seasons.
    • Liverpool have won 23 of their past 25 home games in all competitions (D2), keeping a clean sheet in each of their past five matches at Anfield.
    • Origi has been directly involved in six goals in his five home Merseyside derby appearances against Everton, scoring five and assisting Jones' winner.
    • Liverpool named three teenagers in their starting XI for a Merseyside derby (Harvey Elliott, Neco Williams and Jones) for the first time since October 2012 (Raheem Sterling, Suso and Andre Wisdom), a 2-2 draw in the Premier League at Goodison Park under Brendan Rodgers. Indeed, the Reds had not started a single teenager in any of their previous 10 meetings with Everton in all competitions before today.
    • Curtis Jones (18 years and 340 days) is Liverpool's youngest goalscorer in a Merseyside derby since Robbie Fowler (18 years and 338 days) in the Premier League in March 1994

his team got outworked and outplayed, his subs accomplished the square root of eff-all, and he was out-managed based on Klopp's HT team talk.

other than that he's doing great. :)

Strange that Shaq wasn't in the lineup or amongst the subs. Is he "out" or going to get an extended run for the next games?

The team really did us a great service by allowing almost the entire first 11 to rest an extra couple of days. The goal was timely too as Mane was warming up - and instead Brewster went in.

Gotta give a mention to Chiravella . The guy has been with us for forever it seems but is only 22. Hes had some ups and downs but I thought he was superb in mf today. I think his contract is up in the summer and on this showing he should have no problem finding another team.

Fortunately Klopp listened to me. As I said before the game. Trust Adrian, he's come through for us in the past and that line up will be exciting to watch going forward. Even in the Villa game they out played them in many ways except the score. I think Villa scored on 4 of 5 shots.
