I do understand the hate for the Cowboys and I try to step out of my Dallas bubble and see it from outsiders' point of view. I'm sure I would hate them too if I wasn't from here. That being said, suck it long and suck it hard hater . Oh yeah, and f uck Everton....
That's how I feel about the scum, the chavs, and real madrid - absolutely loathe them all and their glory chasing fanboys. Especially madrid given its association with Franco that gave them the platform for much of their European early success.
Keep up the good work! See that the match is a 12:30 kickoff so get those bevvies in early. Hate those early matches when I can't drink on this side of the pond.
I don't care what time the match starts, I almost always have a beer or two. When I lived near a good footy pub I'd get breakfast and Guinness for the 7:30 a.m.kick offs. Historically speaking people used to drink beer with breakfast and throughout the day, even the children.
Terrible news about Coleman. I will prefer to lose the match than see an opponent player injured. No dig at Sam whatsoever, just sayin.
yep, coleman is a good player, they'll miss him next game and the rest of the season. (erm .... thanks for saying it, but I didn't read any kind of dig in your post at all, rye. ??? I just posted the news ..... )
Yeah Coleman won't be playing for a long time. McCarthy also unfit. I dislike Everton. But I have met some really nice blues on trips to Liverpool. My hate list: Dallas Cowboys and NY Giants, college basketball Syracuse, Maryland, and Duke, Boston Red Sox (not the team so much as the fans), Real Madrid, Glasgow Rangers, Lazio, The Scum and Ch€£$ki, LA Galaxy and the NY/NJ RedMetroBullStars of Harrison NJ. These are others I merely dislike like Everton but that is too long a list to type.
LOL- I actually played baseball- I don't mind it. I just thought I'd stir up some Stilts for the day!
baseball is really boring until the playoffs. Some cool things in it - obviously skilled athletes etc but it is boring. I enjoy that between pitches they have time to scratch their balls and pick their noses. (I used to be a huge baseball fan - went to about 100 games over time - including several playoff games while in law school in NYC - but the steroid era finished my interest).
I used to think I hated anything concerning the U of Michigan...until 9/11. I realized that 'hating' a sporting team is meaningless in comparison to what I feel for terrorists.
But then you remember that we're 14-2 against that team up north since 9/11 and all you can feel is pity. O-H !!
I wondered the same thing... ...but any team named for a giant turtle, not a Teenage Ninja Turtle, I should add, is subject to the most dire viscosity.
vis·cos·i·ty ˌviˈskäsədē/ noun noun: viscosity the state of being thick, sticky, and semifluid in consistency, due to internal friction. synonyms: thickness, gooeyness, viscidity. Did you mean vitriol?
Oh, horrors! I only wish gooeyness on the Terps, which they can ameliorate with a solvent, such as Terp-on-tines.
He's a Georgetown fan if I recall correctly. They don't like the Terps. The two teams fortunes have diverged in the last 20 years - though both are underachieving given the monster amount of talent in the DC and Baltimore regions.
See what happens when we have so much time between games? We break out into college basketball talk. For shame.
So I read that the Blues are going to get their new pitch. Does that mean that Goodison Park ground will finally be used for something more useful, like a parking lot for Anfield?
