Aye, the problem is in the middle of the park. Too many mistimed challenges and poor positioning. Tighten that, Herr Klopp.

That was the kind of break out that used to give us goals. Come on!!!

I think having Naby and Hendo both in advanced positions has destabilized things in midfield. It's certainly going alright overall, but leaves Fabinho with a LOT to do.

    Origi on for Mane

And immediately draws a free kick at the edge of the 18 - blocked

Meanwhile, it’s still 0-0 in the other match, but Harry Kane came off with an ankle injury...

It's all good lads, just a reminder for next week 2nd leg.

Game over, would prefer the 3-0 but 2-0 is good enough. Should be able to get the away goal and secure the tie. Would've been nice to be able to rest some people, not sure the degree to which Klopp wants to do that at 2-0?

Good performance overall. Hendo and Naby were great coming forward and combining, good to see. Salah unlucky to not get one. Porto should be wide open for the 2nd leg and I bet he'll capitalize there.

It got scrappy in the second half but going to Porto with 2 goals and a clean sheet isn't too shabby.
    Confident but not overly.
