That's what happens when a keeper becomes overly protective of the near post. 24 foot of target space. Boom!

Klopp said later that Can has been ill and couldn't keep going.

Pair of idiots just love to hear their own voices. "If he'd have taken a 'dive' it would have been a foul".
That fat blimp wouldn't be allowed on the pitch these days the way he played. "

Atkinson, I thought during the match. Did a pretty good job. He didn't fall for a lot of the 'fall down BS' Citeh were pulling. Sterling should, IMO have received a yellow for his pitiful PK dive.

all sort of funny things in that "Sturridge Injured", Klopp dropping the F-bomb like he did on US TV etc. Pretty damn good effort by the folks that created the cartoon.

when he was first breaking through at Arsenal he looked like the next really good england player. Starting to look that way again. Glad for him (and us)

I have to disagree with you there. Different kinds ofg howlers. Mignolet is a very good reaction shot stopper. That wasn't that difficult of a shot to block for a good keeper. Great run and great technique to get the shot away, but a decent shot stopper parries that away

Depends - used to happen in Italy when Batistuta and Klinsman and Vialli and Signori were playing there.... and there was even more tactical discipline back then.....

OxC was always at his best when making direct, powerful runs ....... just like at MC.

He lost his way a bit at Arsenal.

Since making up songs seems in vogue, I'll have a stab:

    So I say
Thank you Arsene Wenger, for Oxlade-Chamberlain
Thanks for all the joy he's bringing
Can Arsenal live without him, I ask in all honesty
    What would life be?
Without a run, shot and goal what are we?
So I say thank you Arsene Wenger
    For giving Ox to me

Don't disagree. But howlers are howlers and howlers tend to lead to goals. Doesn't really matter they are different types.

Main point is Karius will likely improve with more games. Mignolet will likely not improve.

True. But my next two big buck purchases would be a top class goalkeeper and a dominant CM. Big upgrades that also prepare for selling Mignolet and retirement of Milner/loss of Can.

    Just don't ask me who!
