Just another game and but i love Klopp bringing in Gomez and Robertson providing them with playing time. Ox more or less also doing well. Thats how you build a team

Come back wins are nice. There's room for improvement, and hopefully VvD will bring that, but a 12 match unbeaten run shows progress.

I've like Can in the past..... But clearly he's suffering from rectocranial inversion. Time to go.

Great come from behind win. We dominated the match, but never would have won it without the goals of a special player. Salah has become a match winner in the same way that Suarez and Torres were for us. Both goals were brilliant. He out muscled the biggest man on the pitch and made him look like a fool for the 2nd goal. He can create a goal out of nothing. He is brilliant at opening up space for himself. His combination of pace and strength make him impossible to defend. They call him a winger, but he is spending most of his time lately operating as a center forward.

3 points were vital. But, gosh, what a wasteful bunch Liverpool is but right number of points. Also, well done, Bournemouth. Eff off to negative football.

    Next.

we worked very very hard, didn't get discouraged and were well worth the 3 points despite the late nerves. great to hear the crowd doing their bit for 90 mins as well.

as for Mo - right on Suss. every team needs a game-changer and he is that in spades. his close control at speed is bloody remarkable (for the oldies on here: does he not remind you a bit of Best, the ball seems glued to his foot).

and he's like ice one-v-one with the goalie. kinda like an anti-Benteke. :)

We could've played the last 5 minutes a little calmer.
Salah just gets himself into great chances...he could've had another 2 or 3 today.

Gomez great again. He made some great tackles to keep us on the attack.

Mane was better also. He had a nice assist for Salahs first goal and had the ball in the.l back of the net twice, but the flag was up. Hope to see him get his confidence up again. He should play again on Monday since he hasn’t been played as many minutes lately.

    FT 2-1 to Liverpool.

Or should I say Salah? The King of Egypt is the MOTM no doubt about it. Two goals and it could have been 4

Special note for young Gomez who had a brilliant game at RB

Matip was at fault in their goal but otherwise played well

Lovren can feel the pressure from VVD. He played very well and handled Vardy. Not his fault at all on the goal.

Can — what can you say. He made some dominant tackles but simply fell asleep early to gift them a goal. And got a stupid yellow for some silly handbags with McGuire

Milner — you get a steady English journeyman wherever you play him. Did so today too

Robertson again a very steady game with a brilliant saving tackle and crosses that beg for someone to get on the end of

Coutinho. Had a great game. Unlucky not to have scored.

Firmino. He simply works so hard for the club. All over to tackle or get the ball and makes runs that open space.

Mane — stay on side son. Thought he showed that he is coming back into his pomp.

Karius did the job. Didn’t have much work

Klopp used all three subs and they gave us that last bit of effort that got us through

YNWA. See you Monday at Burnley.

A month ago, Matip was considered the best of LFC's central defenders, not stellar by any means, but competent. Today, his play was the most inconsistent I've seen him. That makes me wonder whether the CB partnership might be, as has been suggested, Gomez and VVD. There are 2 RB options w/o Gomez if Clyne ever gets fit, so Gomez might be a good choice.

Re: Can: He can be dazzling at both ends of the spectrum. Many, if not most, of his square passes do not lead the recipient, so it slows play. OTOH, he makes a decent number of strong tackles that break up the opposing attack. He's infuriating.

That was a good win today, an important win too what with battle for a top four spot so tight. Utd have drawn so we've picked up two points on them now. :)

Overall a solid team effort from the Reds. Salah continues to dazzle .Robbo was good and I thought Joe Gomez had a strong game too.
On the negative Can was poor imo , slow of body / mind and erratic passing too. Mane is still struggling to find his form of last season. He was okay today but we know he can be so much better.

fantastic as they were not natural at all as they required a huge amount of skill balance effort and strength, natural goal scorers just appear in the right place at the right time and generally just have to fart near the ball and it goes in.

    But you knew that right.

    you mean like Salah?

Damn it was nice having you on ignore the last year or so - shame the downside of moderating is having to read all the posts.

Robertson was a bit of an enforced change - but I think he was planning all along to bed him in slowly once Moreno started playing well. Now we may actually have 2 good LBs.
