Thursday, January 23, 2020 Fixture: Wolves v. Liverpool Venue: Molineux Stadium Competition: EPL - Matchday 24 (we have a game in hand) Time: 3p / 2p C / 1p M / 12p P TV: NBCSN
I finally broke down last month. Yeah, I know!!! So much shit on that "program" so much buffering. Freeze frames as the commentary continues occasionally. That could be my shitty wifi. Well I'm going to have to update my wifi and TV systems. We have new super duper wifi cables coming into our hood soon. (For 2 years so far ) they say really soon. I have to get a more comfortable office chair. Went visiting all the thrift stores yesterday, no luck. I thought you needed to know that.
ESPN+ is great. It has every single domestic cup game, the Championship, every Seria A game, the Dutch league, and some more random stuff that I sometimes find myself watching. Next season they are getting the Bundesliga. The picture quality is way better than anything I watch on cable. It’s worth $5 a month in my opinion.
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 Fixture: West Ham v. Liverpool Venue: London Stadium Competition: EPL - Game in Hand (Match #24) Time: 2:45p / 1:45p C / 12:45p M / 11:45a P TV: NBCSN
today's broadcast hurt my eyes - I think the camera angle and the timing of the game helped contribute.
I've used First Row Sports a few times this year, for the ICC final and the Everton and Shrewsbury FAC ties. Irritating as all get out, lousy picture quality and have to jump through hoops to even see the games, but I don't have much choice. ESPN+ deems where I live a foreign country so it won't give me access.
It absolutely sucked for me today. 1 second movement. 5 seconds freeze the commentary kept going though. Then it froze and kept asking for my password. I was trying to run it off a Verizon Jetpack though. That's all the wifi I get here.
I’ve got SlingTV, along with a local internet service...works ‘ok’, but the last few games (on NBC) were not good...blurry, ‘digital’ images, freezing, delays...may be in the market for something new
Quick alert that the match on Saturday is on NBCSN despite there being six matches kicking off at 3pm so don't change the channel after the West Ham match today!
Seems like Firefox was my problem with plus. I reset that, (pain), and my computer and all is pretty good. I watched the second half of the Lester Loss yesterday. Exciting finish. Some very minor buffering and it went out of focus now and then. But all in all it was pretty good considering.
Saturday, February 1, 2020 Fixture: Liverpool v. Southampton Venue: Anfield Competition: EPL - Game 25 Time: 10a E / 9a C / 8a M / 7a P TV: NBCSN
I read, somewhere, this morning that the Shrews match won't be televised. That'll break their crying owners hearts. They didn't say why, I'd say there is more than enough interest.
something about not being able to play the game on Wednesday, and Tuesday was booked for TV - ie it's on Tuesday but no one will air it.....in the UK. I have a feeling we should still be able to get a broadcast somewhere.
Apparently there is an issue in England over the live coverage of Liverpool’s match vs Shrewsbury- BT sport wanted it moved to Wednesday but that’s not happening so at the moment it is not being shown in the UK and that is affecting coverage worldwide
February 4th @ 2:45pm Eastern - Replay at Anfield - Shrewsbury. FA Cup 4th Round Not sure on TV - ESPN+ doesn't have it listed
