Yep- a tour after the season has ended- because we all can't get enough Liverpool! However, I am excited because they are coming out to my town!
Won't be as many as the last time I saw them live, which was down in Melbourne with 95,000, but ANZ Stadium fits 80,000, so it should go well!
I've got my tickets and I was also at the Melbourne match. Honestly I am really surprised the match was booked so close to the last game of the season. The two games are around 60 hours apart. Travel time alone to get to Sydney will be about 27 hours, although I expect they will save some time with a chartered flight. It will be interesting to see how many first teamers actually play. I expect we will see a lot of the kids in action and possibly Gerrard making a run out.
Gerrard will play and apparently Carra will also pull on the boots. I'm sitting up the Kop end- how about yourself?
I will also be near the Kop end but off to the side and in the corner opposite the main stand. Hopefully the Kop will be in full voice. Nothing like a supporters area in full song.

LOL! I just came here to leave the same link. I hope you guys see a great game even if it's just a friendly with retirees added. I love the A-League and hope that a lot of the new fans from this match come back next season.
