I'm only there for one day, so lay it on me, where can I find the best places for pre-game bite/beer, late night shinanigins, breakast - and any sights or attractions I gotta see/do.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm doing the same thing kaczka. What match are you in Lille for? I'm the R16 game on the 26th.

Could someone who's already seen a match in Lille kindly share the best way to get to the stadium from the train station (Lille Flandres)? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    I live near Lille.

The best way to go to the stadium "Pierre Mauroy" is the underground train (metro ?).
there is a station in the train station Lille Flandres.
it's the line to "4 Cantons" and you stop at the terminus ;)

    sorry for my english^^

I don't know about going out (I went on Metro Line 1, as mentioned above), but coming back I took the shuttle bus to Les Pres station on Line 2, and it was much faster and much less of a crush.

The shuttles leave from just past Gate C of the stadium, and you'll be back in the centre in just over half an hour. People using the other line were saying it took twice as long.
