I'm looking forward to seeing Orleans in the 3rd division. It would be really interesting to see Bastia and Ajaccio GFCO playing each other in the same division. They are 1 pt behind Gap in their CFA group in the race for promotion. Guingamp in National would be interesting to see. I wish we could get Toulon up to the National in the next few years.

I think it is disappointing that big city clubs Nantes and Strasbourg failed to even compete for promotion to Ligue 1 (in fact they still have to do some work to make sure they don't fall any further).

Arles' stadium is so small and obsolete by Ligue 1 standards (well, so is Brest's) I kind of hope they aren't promoted. That said, if they earn it on the pitch have to give them their due.

I also think Clermont's stadium is weird looking

    Nantes is dead anyway.

    Never saw such lousy managers.
Gripond killed the club, Roussillon buried it and Kita desecrated the grave to rape the corpse.

I'm happy to see Evian-Thonon promoted to Ligue 2, next small club with ambition though some stadium issues (rumors they want to play in Stade de Genève) but I doubt the French FA would allow that. Reims also in position to get promoted.

Hard to see anyone stopping Arles in Ligue 2, Metz blew their chances and I don't see Clermont making it. On a side not, sad to see a club like Bastia getting relegated again.

I was hoping for Clermont and Arles, but it doesn't seem like C-F is going to make the cut :(

Sad for Nantes, yes but Im not sad for Strasbourg as they bring very little little to the table. Their supporters pale in comparison to Nantes supporters.

National will have 21 teams this year. Bastia and Strasbourg stay in National.

Good year so far for the Corsican team. Looks for another lost season for Strasbourg, Nantes & Metz and Grenoble is in freefall mode.

No one is gonna be happy about Ajaccio back in Ligue 1 except for their fans.
CA Bastia in CFA group A is doing very well and it would have been interesting to see them in the National with SC Bastia but that wont happen since they are running away with it this year. There basically a 3 team race in CFA A between Bastia, Red Star and Quevilly for promotion.

In CFA C it looks like a 2 team race between Ajaccio GFCO and Martigues. Toulon is too far back.
