I am very disappointed in Monarcas this year, and in the Clausura they are about Lobos' and Veracruz' level. Sansores is garbage. Lezcano needs to be the starting forward. He's nothing special but he's better than Sansores and Avila. Secondly, Edison Flores is not a 6. He's played there for the national team and underperformed. He needs to play on the wing as he's a good player with an eye for goal. Playing him in midfield is a waste of his talent. Sandoval has a place on the team because he knows how to score, but my word on the outfield he is also trash. Achillier is the only redeeming factor of this team. Since you can't really play him out of position, he is the saving grace. Sosa is good too. Flores will begin to do well once they put him where he needs to be.

@LaMascara Backline of 5. I don’t know if my memory is correct on this one but this formation has mainly been a disaster vs strong teams. Good thing is Pablo Lopez is back on the starting lineup. BTW apparently we actually bought Cardona for 4 years?? I thought it was a loan.
How bad do you have to be defensively for the opposing team to score with their feet off a corner. Worst defense we’ve had in a while and Ayestaran is clueless on how to organize them.
