My Concern with Tigres as a Tigres fan would be "El Tuca Ferreti"... he mentioned about using the youth and reserves if they qualify to Libertadores...
I would understand if it was the almighty Concacrap "champions league", but C'mon we are talking about the Copa Libertadores.

Maybe, only maybe using half starters/reserves team against non argentinian, brasilian, uruguayan teams we would still be able to beat them.
But one thing is for sure... it's NOT like playing against the Central American and MLS teams... this are real Futbol Teams, this Cup gives real prestige, its watch all around the world, and if Tigres wants to be a Big Club they need to put way more than little effort on this Great Tournament, specially if they advance to the Final in La Liguilla because they will be forced to play the Concacrap league next year.

Does anyone knows about DirecTV transmitting Fox Deported in HD by next year?

I can't belive Tuca said this he being a Brasilian should know alot better to take Libertadores seriously. If you go against a team like Boca Juniors your gonna need all your fire power. Well the draw is on November 25, 2011

I know... and even worse, he prefers the Concacrap than Libertadores  (probably because weaker teams? or travel distances? )

    Here's the link:
    http://monterrey.milenio.com/cdb/doc/noticias2011/ae325c6da7214b308bcd1dc444d1794e

On a previous interview Damian Alvarez, Lucas Lobos and the goalkeeper Palos showed their interest in participating in Libertadores... and here's what Tuca said:

“En la competencia que entremos ellos (Damián y Palos) ni van estar, si es Concachampions o Libertadores ellos no van estar”.

“Ellos van a disputar el campeonato mexicano, igual otros jugadores van a disputar cualquier otro campeonato que entremos, eso se puede quedar muy claro desde ahorita”

Van a jugar los muchachos que no tienen tanta actuación, van estar muchachitos Sub 20, Sub17 por ahí van a tener oportunidad demostrando que merecen”.:(

So Colombian, Chilean and Paraguayan teams are not a threat?

    Really?

    vs South-American teams* a whooping 21 wins, 12 draws, 7 losses
vs Brazilian teams 5 wins, 1 draws, 7 looses
    *Not counting Brazilian teams

They do represent some difficulties, but Not really...
It's been demonstrated over and over again.

Why do they always have the draw before we know the teams? This draw could be used as a way to further promote the tournament, but when you pull out a piece of paper that says "Argentina 2" it's not really the same as if it had said "Boca Juniors".
