Eddie should remain in the starting 11 for PNE...

Switched to this one. First sub for PNE, 68', Healy on, Keane off.

Cresswell scores off a throw-in. Over two defenders, Cresswell heads past the keeper on the bounce. 1-1.

Another draw for PNE. Six draws in eight league matches.

    1-1.

    Jeez,
On the pine again!!! Hopefully there will be some sort of mitigating circumstances that made it impossible for him to start. Otherwise, what will we be saying next? "Golly, if Lewis could just find a midtable second division team he'd be able to start..."

    .

I wouldn't be suprised if Eddie sat just because he has appeared to be a bit out of game playing shape and had just played on the weekend. I'd expect him to start the next game unless the team goes with a new formation.

    No wingers, anyone?

Seriously, I'm sure Eddie will return to action soon. The manager just brought him in after very protracted negotiations and he was apparently a bit of a strain on the pursestrings, too. His play has been decent, too, as far as I can tell. No way does he end up in the doghouse this soon.
