    Low is terrible.
    6 Tournaments played under him.

    6/6 reached the SF min=100%
    3/6 reached the Finals= 50%
    2/6 won a tournament=1/3

fire his ass and hire someone else.:p

I quite like it. It shows how quickly some of our posters jump to bad conclusions.

    I remember being a very anti-Löw guy until 2014.

If you don’t mind me asking. Could you say what your points of argument were back then and how He overcame them? (Outside of the WC trophy)

Was it initially the association he had with Klinsmann?

I think the biggest issue people on this board have had with Loew is his loyalty to some players. Or to put it another way, he isn't picking flavor of the month player x, y or z so I'm upset.

That plus I overvalued friendlies and qualifier performances, disagreed with him on certain tactical choices, and undervalued continuity.

The friendlies thing is something a lot of fans can't wrap their heads around. He uses them to test tactics and players in a semi-competitive environment. Its a great way to improve the team.

Friendlies aren't really anything I pay a lot of attention to anymore. Qualifiers slightly moreso. The training camp and prep before the tournament is so important for a NT. It basically makes Germany a totally different team to go up against.

Should we fire now or wait for the first game we fail to win?

If you wait for the first game we fail to win (non-friendly) you (hopefully) will be waiting until 2022.

Thats why I never worry about our defensive performances leading into a tourney. Löw uses the training camp to get it sorted and organized.

I was Loew raus after the 2012 disaster but I can see it was better to keep that institutional tournament knowledge that was so key in 2014

The same thing happened with All Blacks after our shocking tournament early exit in 2007 - everyone wanted to sack Henry - but actually a lot was learned about game management in that tournament which was crucial in 2011

fire his ass to the moon.

that extension pre-tourney was dumb. He's not a terrible coach but he is limited and seems like it's likely time to part ways post WC.

They have extended him before each WC. He needs to find a working midfield.

he's an idiot, the midfield is the likely answer to winning most games. He really thinks that 2 man midfield is good enough? We need to overcrowd the middle not be empty. And Boa having injury issues and Kimmich and the midfield attacking too much is why we need a DM.

Draxler has shown yet again that he's useless player, having like one good game in his whole NT career. And he still does the backpass BS. Time and time again he's on a 1v1 and he just backpasses. Reus should have started from the beginning.

yeah lol but man was Boa and Hummels slow as snails.:cautious:

Low was talking about post WC about possibly changing the team. I think it might be time to let those 2 go and play new CBs, neither is as they were, both seem past their prime.

Löw needs to bring back this legend. Fischkreutz can play literally any position

that's not a bad idea, instead of playing Boa who was out for awhile and looked pedestrian for most of the match.

good thing, Low left out Mustafi, lol.
