Hector was listening? He went on a 40yd run with the ball and then fired just barely over. MORE OF THAT PLEASE
Watching with a nervous eye this afternoon. First chance to take in a match in a spell. Overall lads look fair. Certainly worth a point. Desperately need to move the ball more quickly.
Someone with a better eye for a forward pass than Guendouzi should replace him, and I think that would improve the pace of play. He freezes on the ball and moves it backward far too often. Willock, maybe?
Good season in general. But yes, especially with this downpour. He just made a REALLY good Spidey catch. Very sticky.
The only pressure anyone applied in that entire Leicester attacking sequence was Holding on Gray on the sideline. And that is why sitting back like this, as a club like Arsenal, as poorly coached as this team is, is a strategy doomed to fail.
I'm not complaining about the goal. Nice one touch passing and, I believe one ball fortunate to sneak between legs. More upset about the lack of midfield pressure throughout.
Yep. It was a nicely worked goal that was made way easier to create because of the complete lack of a coherent press.
2-0 I should've just not started posting, it seems. For the Arsenal players I hope they recall the good form they had in parts today. I think most of the lads hustled and they've had opportunities. I guess on the bright side this is another point for the Emery-out crowd. Fair play to Leicester. Side is legit and entertaining, and it's nice to see a non-Big 6 side doing well.
The way that Leicester has gone for the throat since going up is something I haven't seen from a team I support in years. Good on them.
