Spurs head to Leicester carrying a mounting injury list with 6 players out: Foyth, Sanchez, Wanyama, Dembele, Lamela and Trippier (insert Harry Redknapp quote here). We lost the corresponding fixture last season 2-1, but the 2 players who scored for them, Vardy and Mahrez, will not be in the Foxes squad on Saturday. Vardy is out with an injury and Mahrez was sold to Man City. Vardy is a big loss for them, especially since Poch likes to play with a high defensive line and the fullbacks high up the pitch, which is tailor made for Vardy to run in behind.

Still, Leicester have some good footballers in their side and if we play like we did in the final half hour against Southampton, we will be punished.

Sonny gets it onto his left and it's 0-1 to Spurs just before the break.

Leicester never threatened in any meaningful way. Fairly easy win in the end.

Really important to get this win in a tricky away game when many rivals were at home or had easy games. And giving some rest to Kane and Eriksen before Barcelona. I love it when a plan comes together.

It was a sweet shot, too. I love it when Son is on. Takes pressure off Kane so he can do even better.

It's kinda weird to think that we are having one of our best seasons ever, yet it still feels we are not showing in any match as much quality as is there. A certain dissatisfaction is there. I'm concerned that going to our new stadium will disrupt things.

Hell yeah, nice 3 pts and 3rd again!
Lately we look like a well oiled machine (well, not always) but there’s hope for more.
Just anybody has to hack down loserpool.

Leicester are a good side, in good form. Away from home we rested our 2 best players and still brushed them aside, thoroughly professional and impressive performance, Son and Alli really stepped up.

16 games played, 10 away from home, still within shouting distance of the top. I've seen some people disappointed that Chelsea beat City - ******** that, look up not down.

I agree, it seems the team is not playing its best. But we're third place, took care of business on the road against a decent team. Moura had another quiet game. I sure hope some of the injured are coming back soon. We have quality players, but it's getting thin, especially at right back.

Disappointing and frustrating at times but not a bad thing... Especially if we get stronger and tighten things up in 2nd half of season. Man U proved they didn’t always have to play their best to win a title... They just had a way of getting it done and staying consistent. Our biggest challenge will be getting key results against the other 4 rivals.

We look a different side when Toby and Jan are holding down the CB positions, not only are they classy footballers on the ball and provide a strong platform for our attacking players, they are also excellent positional defenders and if they need to put their foot through the ball to break up a dangerous opposition attack, that's what they do. You really see the difference in quality and decision making when Sanchez and Foyth come in to the team.

Dele once again was a calm head in midfield and controlled the game. Our passing game was excellent (Ben Davies picked out a great ball to Lucas in the build-up to the second goal) with few of the giveaways that have plagued us in some of our other matches.
