No doubt in my mind that Bryan Rochez will be going abroad soon.. I think he's better than the MLS tho.
I don't think he would be sold to an Mls team.. real espana would probably want a nice fee since he's a youngster with alot of talent, but no Mls team would give him a DP type fee. Maybe Suazo get's him in Italy.
We'll see. Rochez will have a lot of showcase windows coming up.. UNCAF.. U-20.. Central American and Caribbean games.. Olympic Qualifiers..
I will LAUGH HARD if Man City really did manage to sign one of these guys.. LMAO Mancs falling on hard times too I guess.
He's at Vida. He's been playing in Honduras for like 5 years now, but he stays injured, as always. He sucks.
Guess it's official now. Wow, it's been awhile since we had a keeper abroad. Details in the link below: http://www.diez.hn/futboldeprimera/724967-99/portero-john-bodden-se-marcha-al-fútbol-de-paraguay
Iight now for some rumors: Alfredo Mejia is close to joining a first division Greek side. Jerry Bengtson is reportedly close to inking a deal with Swiss side, AIK Fotboll. Rony Martinez, the reigning goal scoring champion of the league, could be joining Serbia Super League side, Novi Pazar. Carlos Costly has been offered by his agent to Uruguayan giant, Peñarol. Roger Rojas could be signing for a Saudi Arabian team in the next days.
That would be to good to be true, but I can dream. Does Pavon still play for Real Espana? I'm curious if he still has game in his 40's.
AIK is actually from Sweden, my neighbour country! Got to wonder if that rumour is a joke, because Bengtson is a common surname in Sweden. But I feel like that would be a brilliant move for him.
No, he retired last year. I attended his homage match which was held in New Orleans. Signed my Morelia Pavon jersey, it's hung on my wall lol. Right now he's in talks with our federation about being a coach for our youth teams. http://www.diez.hn/laseleccion/725277-99/carlos-pavón-se-reúne-con-la-federación-de-honduras
Yea that's what I meant swedish lol. Brain fart for a second there. There's more rumors of Bengtson going abroad with the coach of AEK Athens coming out saying, Jerry is the type of player he'd love to have. Remember AEK is a traditional team in Greece, but relegated last season.
Another rumor, Brayan Beckeles, could be moving on a one year loan to South American giant, Nacional de Uruguay. http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/725193-99/brayan-beckeles-es-ofrecido-al-nacional-de-uruguay
Off topic but how much do these Honduran sides pay their players? I was looking at Real Espana's roster last night and watched some highlights you posted in the lg thread and I was kind of impressed.
They get paid well enough where they can live comfortably in Honduras. Players like Costly have sponsor money and contracts, while young players like Bryan Rochez is paid enough to support his family in La Ceiba and live by himself in San Pedro Sula without a second job. Real Espana is an exciting young team, they rely heavy on their cantera, they'll probably be the bulk of our national team this coming new cycle.
Man what perfect timing. Jose Colon Velasquez signs with Nacional de Uruguay. Details below. http://www.diez.hn/futboldeprimera/...olón-anuncia-que-se-va-al-nacional-de-uruguay
Like we said, it was now or never. He wasn't growing anymore at Victoria. Oddly enough this becomes Victoria's second player in as many days that joins the South American ranks.
