I'm quite certain that he is left-footed. I know that in the Brazil vs Scotland match at Spain 82, he lobbed the keeper with his left foot.
Hans Müller (German international 70s/80s) Felix Magath (dito) Kurt Jara (Austrian international 70s/80s) Hans Ettmayer (Austrian international 60s/70s) Dominique Bathenay (French international 70s)
I assume your Hans Müller is the Hansi Müller I remember. I saw him chip a ball over the GK (Maier?) that was simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it, before or since. I can't remember now if he was left-footed, but there was an exceptional Icelandic player in the BL at roughly the same time. Anyone have a name for me?
Argh ... "The Cannon" that was going to be my addition to the thread. Great call !!! So I will add another one with a compilation. Alex de Souza http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_IVECS_UvI
Yes Hansi Müller, the same guy I meant. Great technique. The best icelandic player was Asgeir Sigurvinsson. Not sure if he was left-footed, though. He played for Bayern and Stuttgart in the 1980s.
Could it be Hertha's Eyfoljur Sverisson? I dont recall him being left-footed though...but I was very young back then and very new to footy.
i think aljosa asanovic was 'cause i remember him playing, almost chipping, that sublime ball to suker in the 98 wc semis with his left.

Bentex, are you the guy that runs that website on Hungarian football players? If yes, outstanding stuff, especially on the legends videos. Czibor's goal in '61 against Benfica is simply stunning.
