It's never Lee's fault. Take a pick between the manager is racist/team politics/his teammates cannot play Barca-style like him, etc...
Lee fails to understand he lacks talent. Reality has not set it. Here's a little advice for Lee. He should do everything in his power and make a transfer to RB Salzburg. Not that they would ever take him in, but he should at least try. Last chance to salvage his career.
Wanted to suggest FC Liefering (Salzburg's second team) as an easier, maybe more fitting choice. But everybody in its squad is below 20 in age...
I never thought Lee Seung Woo's assertiveness or aggressiveness was rude or untoward. The kid needs playing time and he's obviously getting iced out for whatever reasons other than his ability. He needs to move asap.
Yea maybe but he hasn't been given minutes on a squad anywhere. I don't even care where at this point but I'd like to see him get some regular minutes before writing him off.
This whole team is not good either. Did you see the last match he played? He was the only player who actually tried something. Definitely not "awfully bad" to not play any minutes in this shitty team.
I did not watch, and not disputing his team is bad. I'd love to see him succeed. Probably a combination of things leading to him not getting playing time (and at this point he's probably terribly out of form). I just think at this point he's a lost cause, and I suspect lack of senior-level talent is the primary reason why.
Most will determine whether a player is good or not by 1) goals scored 2) flashy moves 3) what others say. The ones who know what to actually look for will look at 1) First touch 2) accuracy of passes -- not just direction, but more critically the "weight" put on the pass 3) effort (not just when people are looking). If playing a pick up game and somebody kicks the ball out -- who goes and gets it? how hard does he train and push himself when not required? Does he make runs when the possibility of the attack coming into fruition is low? LSW (including his most recent outings), is a failure in all the 2nd categories. He masks it by infrequent flashes that look impressive in the first categories.
tbf, he was benched for most of the season. my expectations are not great but still hope for better things for this kid
My criteria that I listed is timeless. As for LSW, my assessment of him goes back to at least 2015. Should we go farther back to a time before puberty to make a proper assessment?
