Nice game from him. Hope he plays more like this as a poacher, rather than trying the same thing he did in the youth stage (don't think he's fast or technical enough to do that).

I think off the ball, he's pretty fast. I've seen him outrun than his opponents and can cover a lot of ground. When he dribbling, he's not that fast but he's good at changing direction.

His speed is average at best. Whenever he tries to play out of his half, he gets dispossessed too easily, and that showed even today. He's better suited to the poacher role pouncing on the second ball rather than being a playmaker.

I'd blame the defenders... for both of Verona's goals, the defenders didn't even track their men. You know you have a problem when 34 year-old Pazzini can run circles around you.

I disagree 100%. One of his strength is moving the ball forward through his dribbling. He gets dispossessed but not as easily as you state. Agreed on speed though. I don't think he can outrun any players while dribbling but he is quick. In tight situation/space, he is certainly above avg in getting out of tough situation. Even local reports/ratings (granted, it is based on google translate) highlight the strength I listed above while they take points away for not scoring often considering some clear cut chances he had the past few games.

Glad he scored. But he loses the ball way too much. It's a pity he's so small.. he has the right attitude but he seems to get pushed around when opponents get physical

Doubt that he would be at 100% no matter how much he played at the Asian cup. Travel, stress, lack of training, etc. If he gets left out of the squad next week as well we havd a problem here.

Well he was on the bench straightaway so that's a pretty good sign isn't it? Let's not react week to week..

Didn't they just buy someone who plays in the same position as LSW?
