He's not going to get any better if he doesn't get any playing time. Valencia is just not the right team for him.

it’s all a part of the learning process i guess. someone just needs to teach the poor guy how to defend since he’s never really had to do it before and it shows.

i hope he cheers up (paulista said kangin was crying in the locker room) and isn’t too hard on himself.

anyways, do you think kangin will be joining up with the u23 squad for the afc u23 championship in january?

Kang-in will only be suspended for 1 match (vs. Osasuna).

I hope we can see him contribute a lot more in the attack soon. I think Kang-in only got like 10 touches in and it was mostly him passing the ball back.

Kang-in starting today! And he isn’t playing on the wings!

The lineup I'm looking at has him on the wings

He played up front at World Cup. His defense, and work rate isn't good enough to play midfield.

Lee off at 69'. Unimpressive game today, and the highlight was the VAR review for his foul on a Sevilla player. He needs to learn to stop studding people's ankles... just stupid, especially after getting sent off in his last match for a similar foul.

Sobrino equalises. An excellent header. 1-1.

Lucky to have dodged another red card, lol. Aside from that, I think he did well. He generated a few good opportunities for the team to score, especially linking up with Maxi.

And Lee apparently gets yellow carded for excessive protesting against the ref from the bench. He really needs to learn to keep a cool head.

Valencia looked a lot more potent when Sobrino came on for Lee. Playing as a secondary striker does not suit him, he needs a lot more space playing on the wing like he did against Getafe.

Apart from that Maxi chance, he didn't really get into the game.

He’s learning and growing with every game.

Right winger, left winger, attacking midfielder, and secondary striker. He’s played in all of these positions so far this season. It’s nice that he’s versatile but I’d also like to see him settle into one where he can excel.

He disappeared in the 2nd half, but he was definitely one of the best players in the 1st, along with Ferran.

This is only his 2nd start in La Liga and he had only played a little over 200 minutes in the league so far in his career before today. He did good.

The whole Valencia team was unimpressive until 70’.

It doesn’t matter whether he’s young or old or how little he played so far, we’re just talking about how he played today.

Was he impressive today? No. Is it impressive that an 18 year old is starting and holding his own in La Liga in general? Sure, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

    Touché.

Also, I just found out it was actually Jaume Costa that received the yellow card from the bench and not Kangin like we initially thought.

Taken off at 53' for Vallejo. Ineffective performance from Lee.
