If you guys think this is not thread-worthy then anyone of you can request the mods to move it to the official Korean abroad thread.
hwang heechan was playing match in match out, had performances worthy of discussions, and was set to being a national senior team player

The "Asian bow" celebration is a bit cheesy, but it's nice to see him get along with his teammates. I know his goal highlights are posted in the other thread, but Austria Wien posts Sky Sport highlights with the manager's interviews on their YouTube channel for free. Good quality as well. (These videos are unlisted and can be only found on their website) https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=443&v=LWn9EU2WgrA Receive praise from the coach on his debut. http://www.heute.at/sport/fussball/...t-Lee-hat-Potenzial-zum-Fan-Liebling-48111980 Spox talks about how Stielike had something to do with giving info on Lee Jin-hyun to Thorsten Fink. I have serious doubts about this. He definitely has not scouted any Pocheol high school or Sungkyunkwan University matches. This is the same man who had trouble scouting the K-League (slept at a couple of matches) and once tried to call up a player who was banned from football for 1 year. http://www.spox.com/at/sport/fussba...yun-Lee-FK-Austrias-neuer-Super-Koreaner.html
I doubt Stielike was highly proactive on that - it was probably that Fink got in touch with Stielike through mutual German contacts, and Stielike was able to put him in touch with someone in Korea who knew more. So, more like "he knew a guy who knew this guy who knew another guy" and Stielike was one of the guys.
played 90 in a charity friendly. scored but it was goal #11 out of 16 http://www.fk-austria.at/de/n/news/...erbrot/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

was getting hammered 3-0 HT. Thought that it could be worse if Milan stepped on the pedal. LJH is doing ok for what is worth. Playing like your typical Korean CM. Tidy but not creating anything.
Still, what a career boost. From playing University league for Seon-Kyun-Gwan to Euro League against Milan within months!
He seemed to have one good play with a shot on target in second half. Also a good through pass in second half.
The problem that I have about him (well not really his fault), is that he's too similar to many of our other players. He doesn't bring anything new to KNT. Hopefully he has a decent club career at least.
People should check out what he did at 2:33. He passes three Milan players and has a shot on goal. Pretty neat stuff.
I think I wrote it somewhere, but it's the third KPA under manager Thorsten Fink (PJH at Basel and SHM in Hamburg before). And like the two players before him, Lee seems to get a lot of trust and chances under him.
