Might be injured again sigh edit: got hit from behind and went outside, but now he's returned to the field edit 2: No, he gets subbed out. Can't walk properly. Let's hope it's not too serious
FC Seoul tried to sign Lee Chung-yong during last summer as well as early this year, however he declined the offer as he stated that he wants to stay in Europe. According to Shin Tae-yong, he's open arms on returning to the national team as well as his chances of playing at the WC has gone high. Also states that he and his agent are in the middle of a transfer negotiation.
Well his level does not stand the standards of the big 3 leagues imo. Especially not with his actual fitness. Also I guess nobody wants him / knows him outside England, so yeah maybe Championship might be an option, but I am not sure if he's really needed in the NT. He really needs to gain back his form, if he wants to go to WC.
pains me, that he's not yet 30 and we are saying this. career of coulda, shoulda, woulda oh and some chap named Miller.
how could any of us not be? a freaking exhibition tune up FFS. i'm never going to forget that, ever...
AFAIK, he qualified for a loophole whereby not having completed high school, he did not have to do service as dropouts are not drafted into service.
