I really wished he was allowed to stay at Bolton. Looks like the club believes they won't be relegated but will not make the playoff positions and decided to cash in. http://www.time4tv.com/2011/09/sky-sports-news.php If you want to watch SSN and see this play out.
this honestly does not feel like Pardew signing but owner/administration signing. didn't Pardew say he was done with signings only a day or two ago?
yes But 500k. And Chamakh got hurt again so maybe thinking another attacker. They also just signed a guy from Barton Rovers though that might be a youth buy
yea, but they also brought in Sanogo & Mutch. Gayle is still around (their leading goal scorer).. Campbell is still around. LCY is luxury buy (with marketing potential in Asia) unless they really believe he will start immediately for them.
Conflicting info Also Korean midfielder Lee Chung-Yong also completed move from Bolton to Palace in a deal worth up to £2m @TheSunFootball— Charlie Wyett (@CharlieWyett) February 2, 2015
Maybe. But the price is so low that it seems like a free option which few managers would turn down as well.
I read something earlier from a Korean source that the fee was £1.5M or £2.5M depending on survival. Who knows how accurate those sums are either...
Bannon signs with BWFC so just a matter of international clearance I think http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/spor...e_latest_Bolton_Wanderers_breaking_news_here/
Cutting it real close: "08:35 LEE LATEST Bolton Wanderers winger Lee Chung-Yong left the club's training ground earlier today ahead of a possible move to Crystal Palace. However, with the window shutting in just half an hour's time, the clock is now very much against the Eagles completing that deal in time." http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/
if all the papers are in its done even if they have to wait for international clearance which can come after window closed
done. Bolton just made it official OFFICIAL: #BWFC can announce that Lee Chung-Yong has joined @CPFC for an undisclosed fee. #DeadlineDay pic.twitter.com/37YfVIgtge— Bolton Wanderers (@OfficialBWFC) February 2, 2015 lol at the pic BBC used Palace sign winger Lee Chung-yong from Bolton with Barry Bannan going the other way on loan. http://t.co/vEhok3Zu2M pic.twitter.com/FYQIh4sEfX— BBC Sport (@BBCSport) February 2, 2015
This makes me sad to be honest. I can't believe Bolton were relegated. And I can't believe they're still stuck there. And I can't believe LCY got hurt and this is the move that he ends up with.
Sorry to see Chung-Yong Lee leave #bwfc - One of the most technically gifted players I've seen here and a lovely lad. Wish him all the best.— Marc Iles (@MarcIles) February 2, 2015
What is Neil Lennon's favorite fruit? *wait for the punchline* While yall are waiting, let me just say I am very sad about this news. LCY is my favorite Korean player and I feel like with him and new signings like Le Fondre, Bolton could have had a chance at playoffs. Seeing him and Bolton get promoted after being relegated would have been amazing. I was praying that he would stay with Bolton but I hope the move goes well for him. *punchline* Bannana
