I heard something about that the MLS combine invite list being ready or soon to be ready and released ... anybody else have any news or info about this? Last year the list was sent out on December 11.
Denver Jr. Kortne Ford is apparently in talks with Colorado. After the Greenspan trade, doesn't seem crazy that they'd look at something like this. http://www.denverpost.com/2016/12/11/kortne-ford-colorado-rapids-denver-pioneers/ http://www.denverpioneers.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/kortne_ford_910332.html
Let the #MLS Homegrown player signings begin. I'm told UCLA defender Reggie Cannon has signed a homegrown player deal with FC Dallas.— Ives Galarcep (@SoccerByIves) December 14, 2016

Evan Waldrep, a sophomore at Creighton, just posted this on Twitter: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Someone on the Creighton thread said Waldrep was transferring. Maybe he decided to go pro or maybe he is going to a school closer to home like Grand Canyon.
Need to add GA's before it fits here . . . but might as well talk about graduating players as well. Notice about a third of the list are foreign players. Makes sense as many pretty good foreign players are coming to the US, and many of the better US players are attached to MLS clubs.
I'm fully aware but the question was asked so I felt it wouldn't hurt to answer it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As long as Andrew Hauptman owns CF97 Homegrowns are our best bet at acquiring some sort of real talent... We all sure hope Cam and Pineda make the jump this seasonas the current state of our roster is abysmal.
Schellas is a good coach and he has the whole state to himself and a rep for knowing what it takes to get players to MLS. So I agree it's a program on the rise.
Alright, somebody should start a offseason transfer thread. And perhaps a Grand Canyon thread. Jeremy Pollard posted this on Instagram today... jeremy_pollard Looking back at the past year in Akron I couldn't of asked for a it to have been any better. The people I met will forever have a place in my heart and so will Akron soccer. I've made life long friends and I can honestly say this has been the greatest year of my life so far. Unfortunately it's time to move on from Akron towards a new chapter in my life, but I will always remember my brothers in blue and gold who helped me become a better player and person everyday. Good luck to you all in the future, I'm sure we will meet again. And you know what they say ... it's always a great day to be a zip ⚽️ #reggieisstillugly Pollard has transferred to Grand Canyon.
Here are the transfers I know of Evan Waldrep: Creighton -- Grand Canyon Aaron Kleinert: UC-Riverside -- Costal Carolina Jeremy Pollard: Akron -- Grand Canyon Anthony Macchione: Akron -- Creighton
Speaking of Grand Canyon, freshman defender Hector Montalvo has signed with CF Tigres pic.twitter.com/lo28RxufgB— Hector Montalvo (@hectoremontalvo) December 20, 2016
