Going for my first win in DIV today, and I think I'll get it. My opponent is the other auto-promotee, but he's never put up a midfield higher than pass++. He's on the road at my place, and I expect to have at least a 59% advantage. I'm predicting a 3-1 win.

I tried to get him to mutual PIC with me, but he's read and not responded to my mails. Oh well, I'll normal and likely crush him. :D

My first game in V, against a fellow promotee who has a much better team, but is highly predictable. I'm hoping to steal some away points to start the season, in spite of rubbish form on some key players.

Nope. Delays in most countries today. Brazil and Costa Rica both kicked in well into the 2nd half. No word on the US.

Yep. 2-2 at the half. Had a wingback red carded for two yellows in only the 22nd minute. Fortunately, due to setups and ratings his send off will have almost no impact on the game.

    Come on Evergreens! Stand tall!

Up by one at his place, 1 of 2 chances made, he's had none and he lost a CD to injury. 68% poss, so it's looking good now.

Anyone know how bad this one is?

48 minutes into the game, Francesco De Giorgi had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Kamil Witaszewski.

PIC at home against a team that beat me 5-0 last season. So far I'm well on my way to some sweet sweet revenge, 3-0 with 59% possession.

4-0 now and my stud striker who didn't score much last season has a hat trick.

Survived a eerily quiet 2nd half and earned the 2-2 draw. Sweet! Good start to my season...

Easy 7-1 over the bot from DIII, nice way to start the season. Another PIC in Cup-2 and in good shape for the first competitive match next Sunday.

6-1 win on the road. I expected to win, but the 6 goals was a nice touch. First place in VI.53 on goal differential right now. :)

That will likely end next week as I play the team who relegated from div V.

Norge Vikings take down the main title rivals, Titan FC, 4-1 at home in the opener.

Titan swore (on the conference board) that he would not drop both games against me like he did last season... :D

Also another main title contender lost 3 players to injury in his opener as well, but I don't play him for a while so it might not help me directly. He still won too, so we'll see if it even hurts him at all. The injuries were +1, +3, and +6.

got wrecked by a team, 6-1. He seemed to splurge in the offseason for better players, but I wasn't expecting that bad of a loss. On to the cup, now.

0-1 loss at home against a team I swept last year. Oh well, the Firing of the Lambs continues...

First match in Div V, MOTS at the team i'm going to be competing with for 5th/6th. Expected to lose a close game, but held a 0-1 lead into the 67th minute. Finished with a 1-1 draw, which mostly I'm happy with.

My right wingback was sent off in the 38th minute, and after that, their left winger started getting a ton of chances. He's the guy who eventually scored the equalizer, so I think this match would have ended differently if not for the red card.
