How many youth players make the 11 and/or squad? Also I expect to see Drinkwater and Willy make their first appearance. Zappacosta and Michy will likely start as well. Do Musonda and Kennedy see time?
This doesn't give me a good feeling with Athletico and City coming up. I get he needs fitness but I can't see him playing 90 minutes in this one, Stoke, Athletico and City in a 10 day period. I'd much rather see Michy and the kids play. I don't want Kante even on the bench. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...helsea-s-Eden-Hazard-ready-start-surgery.html
They said 10-12 days originally. I'm sure he can play. I think it's more of a delay tactic cause we didn't need him till fixture congestion. And well here we are with the fixture congested and an easy game to debut him in.
yea i heard he picked up another calf strain since being here, so i think he's actually out. otherwise he'd play this game.
enjoying yourself in here @Yahtzee ? team is playing well, and haven't really had to get out of first gear. Musonda impressing as we all hoped, he's showed MUCH more maturity than when he was on loan so i have to assume training under Conte has helped. and as i'm typing he just puts one wide that would have been a GREAT goal. crowd are really getting behind him. Batshuayi is still showing a pretty heavy touch, someone just needs to fire balls at him all day in training. Bakayoko, my word. this kid is just going to be a monster. when he decides to keep the ball you won't get it off of him, but what surprises me is he varies his use of size and skill to completely throw off players, and seems to always have an idea where the space is around him to knock the ball in to. Christensen looks great as ever when he's played. had one moment where he gave up a corner when he should have knocked it out for a throw, but otherwise he's going to have a great future. Kenedy is getting caught offside way too much for a LWB. i'm sure he's wanting to impress going forward, but Conte has more sense than that. he'll be watching how he defends as well, which has been mediocre, but hasn't been challenged much either. ZappaCosta has been solid. nothing to see here. which is a good thing really.
He really isn't. He's best suited as a second striker paired up with someone who can hold up play. Since I don't see us changing our style of play unless we are down, he will continue to struggle. The goals, although there, don't tell the full story.
well that last one he knew NOTHING about. i like him for a lot of reasons. but he needs to adapt soon or next season Conte will look for someone else. he'll be outstanding for the right team though.
