Not really dumbed down, but this is also White/Blue's point. And he's right. And so are you. And I agree. Nice to see everyone's on the same page now. The Galaxy deserve better.

Maybe The Galaxy could go get the coach who’s led more teams to Supporter Shields than any coach in league history.....

I disagree we should get the coach who has the most regular season wins in league history. Scratch that, I think LA should hire the coach with the most US Open Cup wins. Hang on, no who has the most MLS Cups after Bruce Arena, we should hire that guy.

Yeah that guy might not be the sexy choice, but he would be the safe choice to right the ship and get the Galaxy back to their winning ways. I wonder if he is available....

You might have been driving around in the classic Ferrari Testarossa. Then after years of joy, you had to replace a couple of components.

But lets say you still weren't happy with the performance anymore. Would you really want to replace it with a restored 2005 Ford Fiesta that hasn't been started since being t-boned 3 years ago, based on little more than a new garage, a gold and black paint job and the fact that Will Ferrell owns a 3% share in it?

Worse. Somebody broke into it once and smeared the interior with Jermaine Jones.

Nonetheless, it's still less pungent than rotting goat corpse.

So you want a new coach now too? Or is that a sneaky trick question?

I'm saying we should give Sigi the first half of this season, now that's he had a full pre-season to build the team the way he wants, and see how it works out. And if the results are poor, then hopefully AEG cans the lot of them and gets new FO talent from top to bottom.

Typical Gals attitude: There is always something to celebrate when your benchmark for success is low.

Okay, enough sparring with the loonies. Let's get back to talking about LAFC and how important it will be to stomp them in our first game and set the proper tone.....

Your accusations of low benchmarks might carry more impact were they not coming from a fan of a team who will measure success on whether they make the playoffs. That they’re aimed at the literal benchmark by which all MLS teams are measured makes it all the more laughable.

When your team’s aspirations rise above being an also-ran come on back. You’ll still be decades behind the Galaxy in every conceivable metric for success, but you might have a few worthy bragging points to make a valid claim or two, rather than heady mix of fantasy and ignorance you’re peddling now.

Here's what our measure of success ought to be: Drive LAFC off to become the third team in Texas. We did it once. we can do it again.

Alright, we had our say, time to ignore the attempt at thread derailment and get back to making fun of LAFC.

I'm taking odds on whether or not LAFC's classic football experience™ includes the word "put*." We're at -750 at the moment...

Minnesota United were slow in putting a team together. I don't think they will be that bad but they sure won't be Atlanta like the media like to spin.

.The Losers Along the Figueroa Corridor are still just a club concept. All the shit they say, and the crap their fans talk about is just noise. It is a desperate attempt to try and be relevant in Los Angeles sports culture. They have about 20 ish players, 6 coaches, a couple a youth teams, and a thousand owners. They will not be of any significant until they accomplish something on the field. The sport fans in Los Angeles in general are fair weather at best, Win and the fans loves you, Lose and the fans forget you. If this new club wants to learn something about being significant in this successful sports culture, all they have to look down the 110 freeway. Around the world when someone says MLS or Los Angeles and soccer, they think LA Galaxy. That is a FACT, whether anyone else likes it or not. That is something the Losers in Exposition Park will always be chasing. On March 31st when they take their long road trip (probably flying in on Delta) to Stub Hub, they should stop at our Champions Lounge and look at the MLS Cups, then take a picture of them. It is the closest they will get to one for a long time. Then when we get on the field we will show them why those trophies are here. Last year was terrible for us, and we opened up doors for their product to grow. To the Losers Along the Figueroa Corridor, Bring it F#ckers !! To everyone else " You hate us because you ain't us." We are reborn, and I know we will become the LA Galaxy that we love and the world has come to know once again. GO GALAXY !!!

I'm not sure I agree with this approach. He's almost a conduit for pisstaking.

    Let me demonstrate:

Why is Banc of California Stadium's capacity slightly lower than the league average attendance?

Nothing says "Big Time Authentic" like being a bigger clubs satellite team and engaging in a Europoseur Cosplay Exchange Program with its fans.
