Javier Hernandez salary demands too high for MLS club LAFC - sources http://www.espnfc.com/story/3134014...ry-demands-too-high-for-mls-club-lafc-sources
That just seems way too clever for our marketing people. If they were involved their would be a photoshopped birthday hat or slice of pizza somewhere.
More likely someone from our marketing team happened by the mural while off their meds and committed this brilliant vandalism/advertising impulsively
Yeah, it also wouldn't have said, "Nuthin' but a G Thang." It would have said, "Soccer derbys are #Fun."
Looks like its Bradley for the douchekids http://beta.goal.com/en-us/news/laf...clubs-first-coachl/14vl5rd9i9xxh1bjtziqsrnv62
Wouldn't be surprised if the chronology was in reverse - they knew it was coming and it prompted the Onalfo firing and Schmid hire.
For the record I don’t think Bob is necessarily a better hire than Sigi. Bradley has a bit more mythology behind him having done well making some low-expectation teams over achieve – which isn’t to discredit Bob either. I just think him being out of MLS for so long and having that “foreign experience” makes him look more appealing. Shorter version: Sigi and Bob are about the best two coaching talents reasonably available to MLS teams right now, the LA teams getting both of them is pretty cool.
Jason Davis noted, correctly, that Bob is not a sexy hire. Counter to the image LAMAOFC wants to project. He will have an organized, reasonable effective side. And be boring as heck to watch The more interesting news about them is that they seem to have snagged Gigniac (sp?) whom we were chasing pre JDS.
Not saying that couldn't happen, but the tweet that started the Gignac rumor appeared to come from ESPN's Jeff Carlisle, but was actually from a fake account designed to troll people on twitter.
Bradley didn't want to coach the Galaxy, he is still bitter suffering from Chivas USA complex. So now he is the boss of the second team in LA again. He is a good coach, but he is nothing special. The MLS has it's challenges, his only success came during his first year. What did he do at Red Bull, nothing, Chivas USA, nothing. Big Sig has won 10 trophies in MLS, and knows how to build a successful, winning team. He did with us, Columbus, and Seattle. He might not be our long term option, but he is the right hire for us now. As far as I'm concerned on the coaching choice, Galaxy - 1 / Losers Along the Figueroa Corridor - 0
Just read the FourFourTwo article on LAFC as the anti-Galaxy and had to laugh at some of their fans' quotes, especially the one about Galaxy fans being "bandwagon fans". I've been following the Galaxy since their inception. I was at the first game in the Rose Bowl... I've been with this team through it's ups and downs for it's entire existence. Then LAFC shows up with snappy gear, throwing money around and a long list of rich celebrity owners... and WE'RE the bandwagon fans?
At least the Galaxy didn't make Sigi do this : It's time.#WelcomeBob pic.twitter.com/yPlBVhqaOb— LAFC (@LAFC) July 27, 2017
That is quite possibly the most fake hipster LA poser thing I've ever seen. And I've worked in Hollywood for 18 years....
Owners on paper only. The principle owner is Heny "Money Laundering" Nguyen. son-in-law of Vietnam's prime minister. From the top down, Vietnam has a systematically corrupted government whose only goal and desire in life is to enrich and fill their own pocket. It's sad to see naive people like Mia Hamm, Magic Johnson fell for this traitor, a direct extension of his corrupted in-laws.
