The looming threat of a stop in protest was obviously on the shoulders of many of our players. As we are the only team in the league with a roster full of leaders the pressure always comes down on them to be the bastion and voice for the other lesser 19 teams. This particular year the pressure was too much and they graciously decided to award the league and champions to their closest competition in order to concentrate on achieving the demands of the minnow 19 other teams. It's an incredibly profound charitable and selfless statement by Real Madrid.
