Is it official by now? Isn't Málaga our bogey team? They're dead last, 1 point from 8 matches, and I'm still not confident of a win here.

One of my best friends is in Barca, first time in Europe even, and while he is not a huge football fan he splurged on a 3rd row ticket at midfield (only 130, not sure if that was Euros or Dollar converted). Got his phone stolen first night in Barcelona so it's been a bit rough, was possibly arrested too, but hoping FCB put on a great show for him.

    Here's Sport's prediction: [IMG]

I agree but with exception of putting Semedo in for Roberto. And I'd like Masch to spell Pique instead of Umtiti. So I will go with this as my best guess:

    MAtS
    Semedo-Masch-Umtiti-Digne
    Raki-Busi-Ini
    Deulo-Messi-Suarez

As I said before the last game, I'd really like to see Deulofeu play at least some of the time on the LW instead of RW, in this case, if/when he did that, Digne could stay back a bit more and Semedo could be the outlet on the RW, and Suarez could play more centrally.

Subs: get a couple goal lead and bring on Roberto and Paulinho and Denis for 2 mids and a forward.

Fun facts, best one is that Kameni is gone: https://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/news/2017-2018/did-you-know-fc-barcelona-v-malaga

So I was right about everything but Semedo starting instead of Roberto. And Sport was right about everything but Pique starting instead of Umtiti.

Glad Deulofeu gets another start after his last one was cut short by Pique's red card.

Prediction is that Suarez (Luis) gets his first ever goal against Malaga. Really like to see Deulofeu score too but will be happy to just see him play another nice game and maybe assist Owen Goal again.

    Barça substitutes: 13.Cillessen 2.Semedo 3.Piqué 6.Denis 15.Paulinho 17.Alcácer 21.A.Gomes

It's mind boggling that Semedo and Denis aren't starting more matches... I hope it has nothing to do with bonus appearance payments to be paid to Benfica and Manchester City respectively.

Really can't imagine that factors in at all given Barca's budget. I too would like to see both get more chances, but I also understand playing Deulofeu over Denis after last match, and pure forward who takes on players on dribble (post Neymar and with Dembele out); and similarly I understand that Roberto gives us more control, more Barca DNA, more creativity than Semedo. Plus, as long as they insist on Deulofeu and all 3rd forwards post Neymar being on right wing, not left wing, Semedo and Deulofeu are a bit redundant (not that I did not want to see them play together again).

OK having defended Roberto's selection (even though I predicted and hoped to see Semedo), wtf was that Sergi, piss poor defending!

You should be the last person to speak about referees. Now kid, go back to your forum and voice your ‘opinion’ there.

That ball as clearly a tenth of a millimeter touching the line.

To the troll about to be banned who I won't quote, the linesman was on the opposite side of the field, so two goal posts were between him and the ball. I already said here that the ball was over on replay, but in real time it was not easy to see from many meters away and with those goal posts likely blocking. But go on with your conspiracy theories when your own club, well I'll just stop.

Referee having a howler! No handball in the first place (and if there was it should be a red card) and then he draws the line for the wall 12 yards away from the FK spot. To top it off, he just lets Malaga players step well in front of the line. WTF?
    Never seen anything like it..

Looked like a hand ball to me, but I will to look again. And I wouldn't give it a red myself. :ROFLMAO:

Could really be 1-1 or 0-1. This has been poor.
