    No longer "chasing". He's got a lead. Hopefully he'll wrap-up that race soon so that he would really have no reason to play the last 2 games.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think he is going to really care. He has to know WC is the bigger fish to fry. Even though he ain't winning it :D

    lol Most certainly not. But I think its a combination of reasons that will see Messi play in at least 3, maybe all 4 remaining Barca matches (undefeated streak, his sheer desire to play, golden shoe, etc.)

    I don't know if that's so terrible for the WC since there are still a good 4 weeks between last La Liga match and first WC match.
