This is probably the least important game of the season.

First Barca goal would have been crucial.

Sergi Roberto enters with three bookings.

    Upcoming Liga fixtures:
    J33 (A) Celta
    J35 (A) Deportivo
    J36 (H) LPB

Well dang, back to the dreary Liga and CdR final after the Roman-tada. Rest Busi till CdR final is the last I heard, Ini rest too, so something like something, gives Verm a start too for either Umtiti or Pique:

    MAtS
    Semedo-Pique-Verm-Alba
    Dembele-Roberto-Gomes-Coutinho
    Messi-Suarez

hope that's enough, only going for an all time Liga run of undefeated games and 1 game closer to best start ever. But of course we are down now.

I would've rather qualified to the CL Semi's than hold on to this useless undefeated campaign in liga!

A lot of talk was made when LPB successfully defended the Champions because it was the first time it had been done "in the Champions League era".
The achievements of those clubs that had won two-in-a-row in the "European Cup era" are basically being poo-poo'd.

Well, I've got news for you: Only two clubs have ever gone through a Liga season unbeaten and that was back in 1930 and 1932 when the league only consisted of ten teams, which equates to an 18 match campaign.
Barca have a shot of going unbeaten in a 38 match campaign!
How the hell can anyone not get excited about that?!
And even if they end up losing a game, only four times have teams gone through a Liga campaign with only one defeat, including Pep's 2009-10 team.
That's six seasons of a league that is now in its 87th season.
And that's not even mentioning the equaling of the record 38 match unbeaten run that had stood for 38 years and could possibly be eclipsed. An incredible run when one considers the next best run is seven matches shorter at 31.
We're in the midst of witnessing a potentially historic single season and it's not being appreciated because (a) it's not being done in a 'champagne' way and (b) the team is no longer involved in another tournament.
    I mean, W.T.F.?!
    (smh)

It's won't matter at all, especially when LPB beats Barca in the el clasico and ruins the entire "hype" for nothing. Also no one will remember it for what it would be as its not LPB doing it. CL triplet is 1000x more news worthy than unbeaten in La Liga against Las Palmas, Eibar, Levante..

You care about nrs 18vs38 where not many others do. No one talks about arsenal's unbeaten season, they just talk about their recent failure in winning anything big.

Valverde ********ed up badly by prioritising La Liga and bringing a tired uninspired team to Rome who choked and pissed their pants.

Raining in BCN too. Pathetic fallacy.

Pretty much the best team starting, no rest for the weary.

They better get over the CL crapitude with a strong performance today. I'm going to Barcelona in May after almost 15 years, and I'm planning to attend the last Liga match vs. Sociedad. It would be amazing to watch them go undefeated as champs.

That's 100% not true. It still gets mentioned. It did this season with Man City's possible unbeaten run. Obviously it's almost 20 years ago so it won't get talked much.

The fact that you just brought it up, means that it meant something. It's in your memory.

What the hell is Roberto doing in the lineup. Im getting sick and tired of this mediocre playing it safe player. Play Semedo instead for crying out loud.

Was it Semedo that lost the Roma player on their winning header ? Funny I heard no comments then ... :whistling:
