    Messi hat trick !!!

But Suarez should have shot that from the top of the box.

Now hat trick bings on Dembele.

Don't worry Lord P is coming on next.

EDIT - wish they took off Luis or Leo with CL coming up mid week.

EDIT 2 - Now Lord P warms up.

Paulinho for Busquets ? Don't like it. Should be in for Rakitic. That's misusing him.

Please! Messi get some rest, no need to score 4.

Suarez finally scores, Dembele gets first assist, and Gomes gets hockey assist for pass to Dembele!

Semedo + Dembele = RIP whoever in charge of defending that left flank :ROFLMAO: , seriously that is some insane pace in that wing

still i would like to see the usual 4-3-3 with dembele - suarez - messi instead of messi playing in the middle suarez on the left and dembele on the right , it just doesn't look right for some reason

Great game from many players, loved how Semedo, Deulofeu, Dembele and Paulinho actually can bomb forward.

Good win but let's be honest, the first real test this team will have in La Liga is 5 weeks away vs ATM. The starting schedule this season came as a blessing. Hopefully by then the team will only be stronger.

Obviously in the CL against Juve this team already faces a tough test.

Semedo has been good. Not convinced by Deulofeu and Iniesta definitely showing his age. Hopefully Suarez gets better with his finishing.

    The good ;
Umtiti is a wall, as is MATS.
Piqué scoring on his bitch, Espanyol.
Alba was decisive, with his assists, but Semedo was sublime. A knife at the right lane.
    Busi is money as always.
Rakitic looking like his old self. moves the team.
Good on Valverde not starting Dembele, taking pressure off his debut. Nice assist.
Liked what I saw of Paulinho and andre gomes.
    Hat trick messiah.

    The bad
Suarez not as crisp as his prime self, lost a few balls.
Messi offside in the first goal
Iniesta looking like a paler knockoff of himself.

What happened to the FIFA flu? Is it finally gone?

I just hope Barca don't get ahead of themselves too soon. [emoji120]

true that his finishing is not good this match but the way he feinted the goal keeper then shot is brilliant. hope his finishing come back.

It's the beginning of the season and most players, except for Andre Gomes, had a free summer.
