It's a scenario they should discuss before the game, especially with PSG game coming up, Penaldo missing a game and Messi scoring 2. Being subbed there shouldn't bother Messi, it's just plain stupid to let him run like that and now he looks tired.

Messi isn't tired. He was given space by Celta today, that's why he looks more lively. We all know Messi doesn't work hard to get open. PSG and ATM surrounded him with players. But give him space and this happens.

I think if Denis attacked the goal mouth behind the defender he could've reach that, but he tried to get inside the defender and had no chance at big brother Luis's cross.

I agree but Ive always been amazed by seeing MSN playing useless minutes, especially in games when it's 3-0 4-0 5-0.. I don't see why they'd need that. Messi might not be tired but he def don't need those extra minutes in his legs and he definitely needs those extra miles for PSG instead. But that's me, also fatigue is not the only worry, injury is.

Because messi is a hard player to manage in regards to playing time

He always wants to play and he never wants to sub

And he gets upset fairly easily...easiest to just let him play

Even if they can't turn the tie around, seeing how they play midweek can be a telling sign for the rest of La Liga season.

We are playing good but we need to be a realistic here, I don't think we can score 5 goals past Emery's team. Emery is a decent tactician, will limit Messi's movement (watch some here will blame Messi again!!). Unless Lucho come up with exceptional tactics, UCL is already history.

I'm not even going to watch that game. For me it's a fools hope and I'm tired being fooled. I hope they put on a decent performance. Win 2-0 or so and keep the focus on La Liga.

Can only hope, we should be able to win at home and score a few, but one away goal for them means we need 6-1, we probably get to 4-1, but I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Final score doesn't matter as long as we score a couple and strike enough fear in the Parisians (and Mandriles for that matter) to thoroughly crap their fancy pants.

Who knows, if we get an early goal and/or if they get an early red card... But I expect them to stonewall and frustrate us.

Nice 12 minute video of all highlights, not just goals. Starts with Ray Ray and Phil Schoen (warning for those who cannot stomach Ray'isms), but then switches language in 2nd half, weird but good quality:

    Call Messi Maybe-gate:

Apparently pointing to the directors' box for a new contract, a new coach consultation, or just for fun: http://www.goal.com/en/news/722/la-...call-barcelona-must-do-everything-to-keep-leo

    Different article:
Lionel Messi followed up his latest moment of brilliance for Barcelona with a rare cryptic celebration.

The Argentine opened the scoring against Celta Vigo by finishing off a sublime solo run which began close to the centre circle.

And after finding the net, Messi confused everyone at the Camp Nou by pointing to someone in the stands and using the telephone gesture.

Barcelona fans immediately took to social media to guess the meaning behind Messi’s celebration, with theories ranging from urging to Barcelona board to call Jorge Sampaoli to sorting out a new contract.

I'm calling you out, you didn't answer the question. Why do you always criticize Messi?

Also, why do you highlight something I posted about Messi? That sentence you are highlighting is actually positive about Messi not negative. This doesn't help your case!
