So Eibar still controlling and getting a few dangerous chances. Old complacent Barca is back thanks to Coutinho purchase, the underdog aura is gone.
I'm smelling a mentally and physically tired team heading to London. EDIT - good call & glad we got a 2nd goal, but still my point stands.
We know that just like other seasons this team can look lethargic one week and fantastic the next. Specially in away games in La Liga like this. We'll see how it works out mid week.
One of worst game by Messi this season...still directly involved in both goals. 3 points from tough game. Everyone seems to be really slow in last few games.

Lol, sublime pass for first goal, hits the post and his shot leads to second goal. Don't know what everyone else thinks but i see us as outsiders for the CL, if we do La Liga and CDR double that represents a fantastic season..
Valverde was right in thinking this was going to be a tough game . People have complained a lot in other seasons for underestimating away games by rotating players and then dropping valuable points. Can’t complain today even though the performance was blah. I think had Barca not tied the last two games Valverde would have put up a different lineup today. Another bad result today would have affected the team psychologically imo. Plus the field dimensions today are similar to Stamford Bridge.
Yes, I would sign off on a domestic double, even with us already in the Copa final and with a 10 point lead (7 if Atletico wins) in Liga. You can never plan to win CL or rely on winning it. But I don't see us as "outsiders" for CL either. We are one of the 5 most dangerous teams in CL, and one of those teams will eliminate the other (PSG-Real), leaving Bayern, ManC, us if we beat Chelsea, and Real or PSG. Then the 4 other teams, Liverpool, the Tottenham-Juve winner, ManU - Sevilla winner, and Roma - Shaktar winner. I am guessing it will be ManC, Bayern, Real, Barca, Liverpool, ManU, Tottenham, and Roma. All dangerous sides and the unseeded draw for the quarterfinals will be huge. A couple of the best 4 teams will draw one another, while the other two will get friendlier draws. Will luck be on our side assuming we even manage to get past Chelsea? How will injuries and fatigue effect us and the other CL survivors? And all this is why a domestic double equals a great season, especially in a competitive domestic league.
