This is the time that congestion, injuries, and fatigue start to wear. Also other teams are bolstered by the ref to foul and hack.

Barca gets no calls anymore but that is likely because they lead the league.

The only thing a coach can do is hope that the reserves are good enough.

    Mina and Coutinho were fine.

Coutinho was disappointing in my view, had a couple of shots which were straight forward saces for the goalie. He had one chance 8f he coukd have headed across we had 2 players free in the 6 yard box, instead he headed it behind them. Summed up the game really.

We always have results like this every season, we still have healthy 7 point gap and Atletico have to play us and LPB away from home. No need for anyone to go into a meltdown.

I thought Mina was great, considering that it was his first start, alongside a non-CB. He's a good target for crosses, too.
Dembele needs a goal to take the pressure off. He plays like it's an audition, and he's tanking it.

We're in a slump, but that's fine when we have built up such a decent lead.
Besides, I'd rather face Chelsea having just been humbled, than overconfident.

Lol. People yelling at Valverde for starting Paco but Dembele was far worse!

Unfortunately the game was there for the taking in the last 15 minutes as Getafe began to tire. Oh well... Dembele will come around. He is just trying too hard, which is understandable since he’s 20 and barely played. The Coutinho transfer has also added pressure on him.

Could’ve conceded 2 or 3goals today if playing against a team that was a bit more clinical. So that’s a bit worrisome right before playing Hazard & Co.

My concern is that he is more of an open field type of player. That’s often not what Barca faces.

I hope valverde finds the most appropriate, balanced formation that would start against chelsea.

Dembele will adjust for the lack of space. He knows that he has qualitiew in dribble, change of direction and pace and needs time. This result was bound to happen, Getafe were fantastic and you have to give them credit.

Yerry mina was fantastic and handle the defence well. His height is awesome in offensive and defensive headers. He is a little slow but not lumbering. He used his size and strength very well in duels and handled the pressure very well.

Dembele put in some great crosses and also a great corner straight into yerry Mina's head.

This is how players get back from injury. They struggle and then get fit, mentally and physically.

    Just chill.
