I know that Ernesto doesn't rate Arda but he's clearly better than Deulofeu and Denis.

    He should start.

Anything less than three points should activate a fierce "¡FUERA!" pañolada from the soci.
Hell, I almost wanna root for Betis just to see the occasion.

Official Squad: Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Jasper Cillessen

Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 14. Javier Mascherano, 18. Jordi Alba, 19. Lucas Digne, 22. Aleix Vidal, 23. Samuel Umtiti

Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 6. Denis Suarez, 7. Arda Turan, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. André Gomes

Forwards: 10. Lionel Messi, 16. Gerard Deulofeu, 17. Paco Alcácer

Luis Suárez and captain Andrés Iniesta miss out through injury, Rafinha too. Marlon Santos, Thomas Vermaelen, Douglas Pereira, Sergi Samper and Munir El-Haddadi are left out per Valverde’s decision, while Paulinho has not yet been registered as a Barça player and is unavailable for selection this week.

I'd like to see a 4th mid start rather than all 3 of our available forwards. Turan seems not in Valverde's plans, so maybe Denis who can play winger or 4th mid? But then this is a good game to see what Deulofeu can do on wing, and Paco as Striker.

I don't really have a read on Valverde, rotations, minor injuries, etc. but here's what I'll guess for old times' sake:
    MAtS
    Semedo-Pique-Umtiti-Alba
Raki-Busi-Roberto (but could also be Denis or Gomes)
    Messi-Paco-Deulofeu

    FC Barcelona‏Verified account @FCBarcelona FCB XI: 1. Ter Stegen 2. Semedo 4. Rakitic 5. Sergio 10. Messi 14. Mascherano 16. Deulofeu 17. Alcácer 18. Alba 20. S. Roberto 23. Umtiti

FCB Substitutes: 13. Cillessen 3. Piqué 6. Denis Suárez 7. Arda 19. Digne 21. André Gomes 22. Aleix Vidal

    So
    MAtS
    Semedo-Masch-Umtiti-Alba
    Raki-Busi-Roberto
    Messi-Paco-Deulofeu

So all but Masch spelling Pique are what I guessed and close to our best 11 given injuries to Suarez and Iniesta. Not saying that there won't be competition and rotation at other spots. And, hopefully, new signing(s) as well. More Seri rumors today. We'll see. Visca Barca

looks like Messi is back to his false-9 role with Deulofeu on the right and Paco coming in from the left.

    ----Paco-----Messi-----Deulofeu-----
    ----------Roberto--Rakitic--------------
    Alba-----------Busi------------Semedo
    ---------Umtiti-----Masche--------------
    -------------TerStegen--------------------
