If this Tottenham without Kane was able to score 4 goals against City .. Barca would have destroyed them..
Seriously? CL, especially these last stages, is about clutch. And Liverpool are chokers. Barca, or more likely Messi, will tear them down.
I have no idea which club is this but they get an A+ for Creativity . This tops anything I’ve seen for announcing the starting XI 1⃣1⃣ 📝Alineación #IDV ⚽🏃🆚 Club Atlético Unión #CONMEBOLSudamericanaSuplentesLópezSchunkeRealpeLandazuriJaramilloMeraMenaW Corozo pic.twitter.com/6Vq6AQQNgd— Independiente del Valle (@IDV_EC) April 17, 2019
The only hope we have of Barca not winning the CL is if Liverpool manage to stop them, but they’ll be at a disadvantage as they’re still competing fiercely for the premier league (which they would prefer to win greatly over the the CL). This is exacerbated further now that their main rivals City are out of the competition and will focus solely on the league. In comparison, Barca don’t really have much to worry about in la liga as they’re comfortably ahead of the pack. If/when Barca win that tie, you may aswell hand them the CL trophy... A treble of trebles for Barca, especially in just 10 years would be unbearable and surpasses the CL 3-peat imo..
That only works for pens If ball hits arm then hip law of the game say goal should not stand Ref did not get to see the other angle were ball hits his arm which I find it strange
nah Scousers hopefully gonna waste their asses anyways -- the second leg being at Anfield is pretty huge. Just think LFC matches up well with them.
It's actually funny. If Kun was centimeters onside, Poch would have been termed bottler lol. I don't know whether we need to give credit to Poch for bringing then into semis of CL first time since 1962 though. I mean he's had his problems with the board regarding transfers and new stadium so much that he had to play a ST in order to avoid subbing in an 18 yr old CM to replace an injured winger playing as CM, all in the absence of his best player, Kane. However, a slightly more cautious approach with defensive mindset going away at Etihad would have made it simpler imo
Not really unpopular. Klopp’s Liverpool played Barcelona a few years ago and beat Barca 4-0 in a game at Wembley. That was arguably when Barcelona were stronger , Liverpool certainly were a lot weaker then in comparison to now. Barcelona fans and people on this forum underestimating Liverpool are in for a big, big shock. This Liverpool team are like Heynckes treble winning Bayern team. They’re so ruthless and they’re determined after the cl defeat last year. Mane will destroy sergi Roberto and Liverpool’s midfield will smother busquets with their energy and pace. Busquets looked shaky against Man Utd’s mctominay who put pressure on him, Liverpool’s midfield have much more intensity than mctominay
Of course we have to give him credit for reaching the semis, it's not an easy thing to do. But... This game will be known as the Battle of the Chokers.
ANYONE seen this, Cristiano could divorce his family in 2020! https://as.com/futbol/2019/04/18/internacional/1555581997_716079.html?m1=cG9ydGFkYV9wb3J0YWRh&m2=QUNUVUFMSURBRA==&m3=Mg==&m4=dmlkZW8=&m5=MQ==
Sane looked frustrated. He and Hazard together with Big Benz, mama mia. Give Pep Asensio and let us get Sane.
At least he was smiling, and being generally pleasant I'd be furious and livid. We got people damaging equipment at pickup games so when he smiled I figured he's at the very least more capable of managing a defeat like that than I would be.

It's going to take me a few days to process this Manchester City choke. Lost to Liverpool last year. Lost to Tottenham this year. Without Kane, burning a sub with Sissoko injury. Meanwhile City had Sane Jesus Mahrez on their bench. Manchester's backline alone cost more to the club in transfer fees than Tottenhams whole team. And how shit that backline was like Laporte. Epic. Seismic.
I have a feeling that this Barca will be exposed by Liverpool trio like Bayern 7-0 in 2013. I don't think they are particularly better than last year when Roma ripped them apart in Olimpico. Anfield will be a real test.
