What the hell are you talking about ? Sao Paulo used a first team. When they saw Boca dominating them in the first game they quickly put in Souza. In the second game he started. They did NOT use subs. Its truly pathetic that you are putting down those wins. Just shows your bitterness. Amazing how you continue to spin everything. Take away all Re-Copas an we still have way more international titles than you jokers. A win is a win. We outplayed them in both Argentina and Brazil. How does it work in your league? I mean, if Boca would have had a "tri" if they'd won today, that means they won the 2006 Clausura and the 2005 Apertura, right? So, if they were Argentine champions exactly 1 year ago, why didn't they book a spot for the 2006 Libertadores? Anyone explain? Thanks

You have to go back four tournaments to get the teams that played at the last copa Libertadores, that Inter won. If you go back four tournaments, Boca did poorly at the time, and finished out of the running for Libertadores. It was when Chino Benitez was coach. The last two tournaments that Boca won counted towards this year's Libertadores. The current tournament that they just finished second counts for next year's Libertadores.

That is a sign of horrible coaching, they could not adapt. But the players where also to blame. Nobody stepped up and took a leadership role. Guillermo tried, and then they took him out. Estudiantes didn't really play well, but they played with more heart. They were just pushing forward and winning the loose balls. They deserve the title. What the ********, you cannot win every year. We've won every tournament we played last year. We can't get too greedy. We'll get the next one. What hurts is the way it was lost.
