Unfortunately, the only one left is on a wednesday, so the traveling support will be sparse. (8/16)

I suggest a trip to DC.

If Redballz NY somehow manage to stumble into the playoffs, maybe we'll meet again there, in which case you should come watch us take over the Meadowlands again.

MLS is a bunch of poo....

    Its being going downhill ever since the one and only left;

I think they may have spared us the indignity of wearing some crappy generic Adidas label by the looks of it and spoiling those classic nike ones.

SJ Clash mind you. My god, they had some eye-sores. Worst kits ever spawned came about in the South Bay.

It was the mid 90's and soccer was new to America.

    They tried....

    *bursts out crying*

    They tried goddamn it...

And in an unrelated matter, can I please tell everyone to give their second hand clothes to charities to help kids in the 3rd world?

    Thanks.

I never have enough rep for you, ganu. :(

Clan, note the only team whose kit even back then looked stylish - oh yes, that would be DC. :D

Shall I even go there? Women....football.....

PS - Even with just a draw, I'm on the DC wagon this week.

Well, any lingering doubts about jumping ship have now been firmly pushed aside.

    Abysmal defeat this afternoon.

I am now offically a DC United fan...:D

I was going to post to make fun...but then I remembered I am a RB fan and we haven't won a game yet.

Though I do have a HUGE man-crush on Pablo Mastroeni and follow Colorado as my team in the West. Even more so now that they've got Mathis and Petke.

(Waits for Riz to drool over Petke.)

Will the game tomorrow be on the telly anywhere?

No TV coverage for tomorrow's match unfortunately.

Damn, you'd think American telly would air American football (soccer).

There is more foreign coverage than domestic...or does it just seem that way to me, being a new plastic 'n all?

I think this is one of the few matches that isn't televised by some sort of carrier (ESPN Networks, HDTV, Subscription Package, webcast, etc.)

I got the MLS package for $69 - not too bad - but as Eric said, no TV today

DirectKick is simply the best sports deal on TV. I also have the MLS.TV thing to watch the games online. It was great watching the Rapids beat DC again last night. Nice to see Colorado do something we can't do:
    a) Win a game
    b) Beat DC

It was a nice goal, the gamewinner. But Colorado sucks like a hoover.

What's your record again there, eddie? :p

The PinkCows do nothing BUT suck. That's all your lot knows.

edit: That record right now would be 0 wins, 1 loss and 4 ties for those of you giggling at home. ;)
