Worst player so far has been Nagbe. hasn't offered much going forward and has had a bunch of TOs.

Pretty good debut for the new old coach.

What a joy to watch and support a well-coached team. To all the Klinsi apologists.... Up yours.

Holy smokes. In Bruce we trust.

And I hope Lletget and Brooks are ok.

That game was a pure joy to watch.

Lletget in a boot - not good for us. Brooks with a sinus infection and should be ok.

Omar back to being the whipping boy in the Nats thread. Some things never change.

I know. Those people are not happy unless they're complaining. Kinda like Galaxy fans. :)

    Yes, it is irritating.

But this was not Omar's best game. We have seen him play better than this.

And they ignore the critical moment early in the game when Brooks mysteriously (no tactical reason whatsoever) just left his mark wide open and gave him an uncontested shot from 6 feet out. That was the strangest cb play I've ever seen -- we were extremely fortunate the guy drilled it right at Howard.

Every error of Omar's is magnified. But Brooks' errors are not. We all fall into the trap of watching action through our particular biases and point of view.

I hope I'm not being biased saying this, but I thought Tim Ream looked rather shaky. Hopefully got the nerves settled if he needs to be called on again.

I can some up the USMNT board for anyone who wants to save time:
    6-0 win equals
offense sucks because of Bradley where's Feilhaber?
Defense sucks because of Omar- we need two Brookses out there.
And coach did OK they mostly agree now that Klinsmann sucks.

Of course I meant Seb (not Gio), Bradley and Deuce. In fact other than Brooks everyone who played for us in this absolute beatdown was born and grew up playing soccer in the US, right?

Agree. But I more get irritated with what @skydog points out - non equitable treatment. Both CBs made errors, but Omar is the worst CB ever whereas JB walks on water.

Yup. Including Pulisic which Grant Wahl pointed out last night on Twitter.

I can't believe Lletget may be lost to injury too. What a mess for us.

Bruce has some injury troubles, but Jones is available for this one. I expect to see the same formation and pretty much the same XI, but Bedoya for Lletget, and Cameron at CB for Brooks.

Cameron-Gonzalez should work fine. I bet Gonzalez has himself a great match next to Cameron. Cameron's playing style covers Gonzalez very well.

Moving Cameron to CB may not be Bruce's first choice. Cameron has years of experience in the EPL, most I believe as a right back. The only other right back on the squad is Zuzi. I think its more likely that Bruce will start Ream, Zimmerman or Bezler at CB to pair with Omar.

I found it interesting to note, that Bruce did not pick Chandler for the squad (I know he was suspended for Honduras, but he also picked Jermaine Jones who was also suspended for that game). My guess is that he remembered the numerous terrible games Chandler played outside of Europe.

Already starting to see articles about the GOAT with Clint approaching LD's record. He's going to break it and then there will be the slew of articles comparing the two. Exhausting.

No knock on Clint, but if you look at LD's goals plus assists - how many USMNT goals in which he was instrumental - there really isn't any comparison.

Good for Clint for scoring so many goals, and especially for fighting back after serious illness. He will deserve his record. I didn't think he was going to get it.

Yeah, if Clint is scoring then the USMNT is benefitting. Don't really get all the LD v Deuce comparisons over the years. The former was a part-time forward/midfielder while the latter was an out and out striker. They both had their respective roles to play and did them well.
