I wonder how the manager change at Chelsea will impact Scott.

    It really shouldn't.

In my opinion, best case scenario for the next Chelsea manager using younger players (maybe Simeone next season) is giving more time to RLC, Traore, Kenedy. Maybe brings back Christiansen, Pasalic, Solanke, Brown from their loans.

I think Scott is at least a season out from attending first team preseason, playing in first team friendlies, getting into provisional squads, getting into a squad for a first team game, getting on the field for the first team. I don't think the best player in the U-21 league in England, Tammy Abraham, is even at that stage yet, and he's dominating the U-21 league.

Chelsea might be the hardest club in world football for a top young prospect to get a game for, certainly the hardest in England. This might be another Julian Green situation with Scott.

I'm not sure the new manager will even know that there's an academy.
