Find it pretty interesting his most recent account that he followed on twitter is LA Galaxy. I don't usually do the social media stalking thing, but out of the 76 accounts he follows there's a pretty healthy amount of American ones. He follows Pulisic, Hyndman, MLS, Bshredder, the USMNT, and a couple others.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was considering an MLS move.

I think the Las Vegas Lights midfield is already set. Maybe he could find an opportunity with Reno.

Would be a great move for Kyle. Would also make him teammates with DeAndre Yedlin, which would be nice.

That's be a big move for this boy. He needs first-team football in a quality league to develop further, because he has talent. We'll see if he can come in and impress the new manager.

Im not sure he can get first team football there either. Honestly I think thats a bold move. Newcastle werent slouches. I would have thought he might think about Championship or maybe a team that wants to try and hold onto epl spot and stave off a relegation like maybe an Aston or someone like that who were just promoted...

I hope he doesnt go to Newcastle but I also hope I am dead wrong and he goes there and plays well.

Also, I have come to believe that a young player must be a fool to go to Chelsea. They are notoriously bad at developing young talent for the past 20 years. Youth is not served there as they are a top club who always buys their silverware.

Callum Hudson Odoi and Ampadu come to mind but there are a ton others. Miazga never really stood a chance to play there either.

I’m wondering if Newcastle are thinking of him like a business, like Chelsea would.

Buy him cheap, send him on loan somewhere, and then sell.

yeah maybe they would want a cut if he goes the Hyndman, Zelalem, Lletget route....not a bad idea for them if they are thinking that MLS might fork out some dough eventually...but obviously not the best for the player if the idea is to hold on to him without playing him until he decides he needs to move elsewhere to play.

Newcastle may be hiring a manager very soon. That manager appears to be English retread in Steve Bruce. he resigned from his post at Sheffield Wednesday this morning fueling speculation he will named Newcastle's next manager.

Newcastle Jets in for him. I have my doubts he can adjust to the pace of the A-League.

    Move is complete:

    https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/scott-aiming-high-after-joining-united/

“I went to Holland last year. I decided to come back in January. it was my decision – I just felt it wasn’t the right place for me,” he explained. “It always prepares you though – it’s men’s football at the end of the day – so no matter where you are, it’s a different thing. Over there, it was a good experience – you learn different things, and even living out there in a different country, it builds you as a character.”

He has represented England, the Republic of Ireland and the USA internationally during his teenage years, but Scott – who could make his debut for the under-23s in Monday’s pre-season friendly at Rotherham United – says he’s fully focussed on making his mark with the Magpies.

Chelsea are fantastic at developing youth. The issue isn’t development it’s integration. It’s a good move for him cause he’s likely never going to break in but things appear to be changing at Chelsea with Lamps. Youth will be given a chance. Mount and likely Tammy will play a large role. So will Cho and RLC and James when healthy.

Thats a good point and more akin and eloquent to what I was trying to say.

They do develop them but in the past havnt really put them in the XI

Yea most top clubs in Europe have that issue. They have the money to create great develop programs but so few players actually get integrated into the first team cause they go out and buy. Also because so few actually have the next level step up. Every year there’s someone else coming through that’s younger and as good. It’s crazy competition. Newcastle is a good move. Their stable. They’ll stay up. They’ll give him a chance as they’ve shown the willingness to with over young guys but this isn’t a move into instant PT like many would have hoped. It may backfire or maybe just what he needs. Time will tell.

Is Newcastle stable? Seems I keep reading that their pending sale and lack thereof is kind of handcuffing the sale.

They’ve got a long history and a cheap owner but they’ve consistently been an EPL side and even with Rafa gone their lack of ambition for him their still spending decent money. They’ll just never be a top side. Their stable comparatively.
