Twitter is the worst...people only care about the fact he has a terrible haircut, and sooooo many people are making jokes about him looking like a school shooter, with people even making the joke that he looks like he would be carrying around an AR-15...wow. This world is ********ed.
Young, white, American male with bad hair. Like...yeah, obviously people make these jokes. Write your congressman so our reputation stops going all the way into the shitter.
thank god we have peaceful minority Americans around to save our reputation. gratuitous race-baiting aside, does anyone have actual thoughts on how he played?
Re-read the posts I responded to regarding reputation. Then re-read my response in the context of being responsive to those posts. Use your brain. And then get back to me.
Apparently he won a yellow-card: The 20-year-old came in in the second half of Chelsea's FA Cup triumph over Hull City U.S. youth international midfielder Kyle Scott made his Chelsea first-team debut Friday, coming on in a 4-0 win over Hull City in the FA Cup fifth round. With Chelsea already up by four, Scott came on to replace Cesc Fabregas in the 62nd minute at Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea academy product marked his debut with an 82nd-minute yellow card for a late challenge.
This is the first time I've seen him play, but I was impressed with what I saw in his 30 or so minutes. He showed well for the ball, was confident and calm with the ball at his feet (save for the poor pass he played that led to a Hull counter), and wasn't afraid to get stuck in despite his slight frame. He reminded me of Emerson Hyndman. Promising showing.
Umm I'm thinking of the timing...considering there was a horrific school shooting just yesterday..but, yeah, excuse that type of behavior. It's not tasteless or anything like that..
haha there were a few, he did play well and got a "7" on ESPN. Good debut, and I think he earned himself some more minutes in this competition for sure.
@zlebmada killls it again!!! Multiple clips. Please click and check out his twitter thread. Eye for an eye in the 81st minute up 4-0. Don't hate it. pic.twitter.com/5ZUcwUW8xd— scuffed (@scuffedpod) February 16, 2018
LIked his gamesmanship. He was in sync. Made the usual lazy pass that always seems necessary to remind lower level players that things move quicker up here. 68'30" springs a counter that should have scored. Much better than Hyndman. Not even close. He's not so different from Jonathan Gonzalez but I was more impressed with Scott's keen positioning sense. He's a keeper. Yet another guy who can pass thru midfield along with Delgado and Parks.
Kyle's new Wiki page. Besides representing the US U18s, he also had a few U20 callups in 2015 (beginning of the 2017 WC cycle). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Scott
He needs a loan badly at his age. He did fairly well and didn’t look too out of place. No way he gets more minutes besides FA Cup. I’d rather have him get loaned to MLS then continue playing with U23’s / PL2. Hopefully not another Lletget case.
Was getting ready to get onboard with you. But then... Damn. As for the rest of the political stuff, if there were a gif that actually distributed fart noise and smell, I’d post it here.
There is no way he is better than Jonathan Gonzalez because Jonathan Gonzalez grew up here and has a good first touch. Kyle Scott is an average Englishman.
