Fabregas solved that by getting a red card in the 81st.

This is kinda a big deal. This kid is probably our biggest unknown prospect and he just popped up on Chelsea's bench today.

Him and Shaq Moore are definitely the front runners for the most out of left field name to get excited for award this season.

Most likely they'll move David Luiz into midfield alongside Kante and play a back three of Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta.

As cool as it is that it looks like the kid's gonna be making benches and maybe getting some mop up minutes here and there, I still think he'd be better served getting 35 games for Wycombe or someone this season.

Not that it means so much, but I remember when he was 15 years old, both Barcelona and Real Madrid were trying to grab him before his injury issues came about. I don't remember the last time both Barcelona and Real Madrid at the same time were trying to recruit a 15-year old English-based developed player.

I can't imagine you pay that much attention then. You can google almost any decent England based prospect and find those sorts of stories.

In consideration for the Checkatrade Trophy squad, which I think is still U23 for PL teams:

    Almost... here are the rules:

For the EFL Clubs, a registered player is one who would be registered and eligible to participate in a match in the League Competition for that EFL Club commencing at the same time and on the same date as the Match in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.

Each EFL Club shall play its full available strength in and during all Matches. The League will from time to time issue a policy as to what constitutes 'full available strength'. Any Club failing to meet this requirement will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000.

For the Invited Clubs, a registered player is one who would be registered and eligible to participate in a Premier League and/or Premier League 2 match commencing at the same time and on the same date as the Match in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Premier League rules.

Each Invited Club must ensure that in each Match at least 6 of the starting eleven players named on the Team Sheet are players who were aged under 21 as at the 30th June in the year in which the Season concerned commenced.

    https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/checkatrade-trophy/about-checkatrade/rules--regulations/

So for the EFL clubs, they can play anyone they like. The invited clubs must play at least 6 players U21 (at the start, not the end, of the competition).

    Not confusing at all...

I remember the Auto Windscreens!- won it with Rushden & Diamonds on FIFA Manager '98. An on-loan Wes Brown and Duncan Ferguson led us to glory. Good time.

I do pay attention sir, as I said 15-year old. The players you mentioned are around 17 or older at the time of interest. Also your liverpoolecho link appears to be a trap.

Still hard to see him getting into this match unless it really gets blown wide open. They'll shift things around to avoid having to play him (as they should).

Isn't there a rule that you need X number of English trained players in the 18 (might be in the 25). I only see 2 of the 18 being English trained in Scott and Tomori. Interestingly, both can represent North America national teams.
