Good news if he pans out?

 

Yes, it would be good if the American player at Chelsea pans out. Maybe I don't understand your question.

 

I guess just the fact that's he's played for England and Ireland youth squads

 

"Panning out" as a youth at Chelsea means what? A succession of loans then a move to the Champ?

I just hope this kid finds first team football sometime over the next year - wherever that may be.

 

This - good news, I agree, that he's following the US youth teams.

ChelseaYouth's preseason primer doesn't say much at all about Scott, but it does mention how he is well suited for European soccer. I wouldn't be surprised if Vitesse is the move for him.

 

If/when he moves, I'm still down for referencing "Road Trip" in his new thread title. Kyle bears a resemblance to the "Kyle" character in the movie.

Kyle pictured at first training session of the season. It is still very likely he is loaned out but thought it was cool to see him out with the first team.
